Rinseless Wash BETA Testers Needed

Just used the beta rinseless @ 1:256 for rinseless wash. I don't think it's D114 with just a different color and scent. It's not as sudsy and not quite as slick as D114 but it is close. Cleans well, no streaking and residue left after drying. I think it's on par with D114 in terms of performance and "leaving nothing behind". The best parts I think though are the smell and the color. I'm pretty sensitive to smells and some of the rinseless washes make me super nauseas when doing wash in an enclosed garage. This beta rinseless has a very mild and pleasant fruity scent and it's barely noticeable after finishing up. The wash solution turns almost clear so I don't think there will be issues with staining wash media. I hope the final version keeps these aspects then it truly will be the rinseless wash that leaves nothing behind on paint and no smell or stains on media.

The rinseless washes that stain media don't do it with any dye or coloring from the wash, they do it with dirt from the car.

Thanks Eldo but I wish I had some of that SoCal weather right now, so enjoy it or the rest of us, thank you!

I guess we'll have to stay "tuned" for when this product comes out and who makes it but it looks like we've got a couple Dick Tracey's on the job right now. I know McKee's was a thought but with the transition on AG lately I wonder if his product line is still going to be available here. If so and this is it, well, its going to be a great seller, especially since D114 isn't around anymore and it seems this product takes its place quite nicely.

I feel there's no wax in this product, does anyone agree with this?

I'm thinking McKee's, it's Nick's baby afterall. There was also a difference between this box and previous boxes I have gotten from Nick for review giveaways.

How do the other beta testers feel about this product? Anyone dislike it and if so, why?

It's not too far away. :dblthumb2:
Thanks Nick, love the new screen name and that your around. I know you probably can't say anything yourself but others have guessed it was McKee's and with you chiming in here pretty much confirms it

Really looking forward to this. I wanted to try d114 back when it was available and now I'm holding out for this to hit the market. I'll be grabbing some as soon as it's available.

This is a product you'll wanna buy a gallon of, just hope it's available initially in a gallon size along with smaller sizes

So for you beta testers, let's turn the table a bit. How is this product going to take away customers who loyally use:

ONR
WGURW
DG 931
BF rinseless
Others...

The price point will determine a lot, but the mckee's line is very economical, so I don't see this being a sticking point.

But more to your point, the big advantages to me are the dilution ratios and the versatility. Very high dilution for rinseless and waterless. It can also be used for clay lube and panel prep. Most of these products can be used for clay lube, not many for true panel prep. Leaving nothing behind is an advantage. I'm not sure anyone is going to take a risk using it prior to coating, but it should work in theory.

I feel like it performed better than ONR. Oddly, I feel like all the ones I tested along side it out performed ONR for rinseless washing, but I still have a bucket of ONR mixed up and ready to go.

The cleaning strength will be an advantage for other general duty as well. I prefer a string waterless wash for doing door jambs over APC because there is no residue to worry about. Also live waterless wash for light interior duty since they normally smell better than APC and can do just as well for most tasks. I feel like a waterless wash can eliminate the need for something like megs QID in many cases

Of course right after I ordered CarPro eraser from AG, this will probably be released :/
