Compounds

Compounds that ar worth looking into:

Menzerna SF4000

Wolfgang's Compound

Megs 105

Go with the same family polishes for better results (IMO).

My question is been using meguries 100 and 105 and 205 and wondering if there is better compound and polish paint correction? Also use meguries pads.

Thanks Josh

There's a lot of variables what type of paint hard soft types of clear coat all that are going to take into consideration anything Meguiars especially the 105 205 combination I consider the standard I usually try to start with those and then adjust as necessary and then you'll start to learn which compounds and polishes will work better for which paint systems most detailers will have a few Polishing Compound on hand for this reason but you can really never go wrong with 105 and 205 as like I said they're basically the standard and there's not too many things they can't get accomplished

The only issue I have with M105 is the dust. A light spray of water can help minimize dust and extend the working time of M105

But 105 is so dusty so I prefer 100 but that almost to aggressive on lots of paints. Just trying to figure this out cause have had lots of trouble with caddilac black paint and subura black paint with leaving cut marks or maring after use? Yes I do test spot and that what I get for results?

Yes the last subbie I did I used 105/ HD speed combo

Yes 105 does dust lot but in my opinion it's one of the best cutting compound you can get now personally I have 105 205 I have HD polishes I have McKee's polishes I have some in zerna polishes so I've got quite a few different brands, griots polishes. Etc

The Meguiars microfiber pads are great with D300 and D301. One is a cutting compound and one a finishing wax

That is ok system but does not cut enough to do a real paint correction. But thank u

That hasn't been my experience. In fact, that's one of last resort systems before the rotary comes out.

Maybe tell us what tool, pad, speed, pressure, size of work section, etc regarding technique you are currently using.
