Favorite beer, if not a beer drinker, favorite beverage in general.

For me, my favorites right now are:

Bourbon- Buffalo Trace
vodka- Ciroc or Ketel One
Rum- Bacardi Oakheart
Gin- Hendricks
Tequila-Don Julio

as far as beer goes, i try them all, but Samuel Smith's organic lager and oatmeal stout are my faves, Guiness comes in a close third... Wow, i feel like a drunk with this post :help:

I live 1 mile from the Buffalo Trace distillery. I can smell it on cold mornings.

Not much of an alcoholic beverage drinker nor a soft drink person either. I do like carbonated water. None of the splenda or artificial flavored ones. Just simple carbonated water with natural fruit flavoring.

Dasani Sparkling water brand is my favorite. Love to burp especially when detailing a ride!...LOL

If there is no carbonated water I go to simple boring water.

Anyone ever try an Italian cream soda?

The best calamari I have ever had is at the Glacier Brewhouse!

Historically, my favorite had been Guinness. However, I have grown to like more and more the Belgian beers.

Having said that, I tend to drink more wine:
Pinot Noir (Oregon > California)
Bordeaux blends
Cabernet
Sangiovese

Can we turn this into a wine thread? I used to live in California wine country. I had countless wineries in a 15 minute radius and hundreds within 30 mins. Many good and some great wineries there. Having said that... I rarely drink California wine now. A Cabernet is the last think I want to drink. Just too one-dimensional (if that makes sense). Cab blends I'll drink occasionally. Italians and of course Pinot Noir since I'm in Oregon. Other stuff as well, but 95% of my drinking is Oregon Pinot or Italian. Looking for the optimal < $20 Oregon Pinot. It's elusive. :)

Don't drink, but I usually take down a Green Iced Tea from Starbucks.

To save a butt load of money, I found out the exact recipe and Brand Green Tea they use. Now I make it at home.

But when I did drink, my favorite were any of the Lienenkugel Beers.

Would you consider sharing the SB green tea recipe with me ? Love the stuff but it's only a rare treat for me due to the fact of no local SB store near me. Thanks

Been 3 years since i had an alcoholic drink, but my favorite soft drink is mountain dew.

I love soda. Coke in a can or Pepsi in a fountain. Though my most favorite is Henry Weinhardt's Cream Soda. Stomach doesn't do well with carbonation. So, only one or two a week.

I like Dasani water - ice cold. I freeze it and use to keep lunch cold.

Ice tea SoCal style (no sugar; a lot of ice).

For beers and cider, I prefer the taste of apple in them.

I like whiskey, but rarely ever drink it.

OMG! I envy you sooo much, but in a good way!:xyxthumbs:

The Old Grandad (Jim Beam) distillery is 1.75 miles away. Buffalo Trace is 1 mile away. The Pappy Van Winkles are in warehouses right there.

Woodford Reserve and Labrot & Graham are about 10 miles away. Four Roses and Wild Turkey are about 15 miles away.

Fireball bourbon, of course due to my disability I appear intoxicated all day anyway so I can only enjoy a adult beverage at home with NO plans of doing anything else but going to bed.

On another note it's very difficult aproaching a potential new client because our society is so quick to JUDGE others based on their looks. They think " this guy who tremors with slurred speech and is walking 'funny' is not only scary but could NEVER do a quality job on my car". But they don't know my other clients that gave me a chance are very happy with my work and continue to use me.
PS- I'm disabled for those of you who don't know.

I'm sorry for the rant.
Steve

I usually just drink Bottled Water and Ice Tea but I do crave a cold Monster Rehab on a hot day.
