I hope this is cool as it is sold by Autopia, if not I truly apologize!

Well the winter is upon us, for me detail season is coming to a rest. However I am already planning for the spring when it will be time to start over again. I am looking to replace my Wolfgang coating which has been on since July 2016, a great product and still considering reapplying. But I am thinking about PA just to try something new.

I read the info on the site, does anyone have experience with CosmicV2 or Viking? Cosmic states 18-24 months, Viking says nothing about expected longevity. I guess my order would be durability, look, ease of use.

Please any info would be helpful.

It's iffy , I've it's not sold on AG so really isn't something that should be posted. You would also get better answers over there since it's sold and has lots of threads on it the few times I've seen PA posted the responses are few compared to our sister site

I thought anything sold under the PBMG umbrella was OK, guess I am wrong.

My limited experience with PA is that they durability claims are significantly over-stated. They appear to be a marketing-driven company. Doesn't mean their products aren't good, but I take their claims as very optimistic.

Yeah rereading it, I think one of two things happened.

1- I'm missed the intent of the rule.

2- they forgot to add PBMG in the second part

This is like the third or 4th mention of autopia I’ve seen on here. I don’t have the guts to even check it out. My wife already hates my AG addiction. If I found another PBMG site and she started seeing MORE boxes with their tape on it, she might lose her shi*

The only reason I am asking here is because I am a member here, and there are a lot of people I trust. I know some operate over there too!

I think it's probably o.k. to discuss the Polish Angel line on this forum, as they are products sold by PBMG/Vision Investments. My guess is if you placed an order through AG and noted in the comments section of your order that you would like to add a PA product on to your order it would be filled. I've done the opposite through Autopia, where I requested a product sold on AG but not listed on the Autopia site to be included in my order - and it has never been a problem. Have done that several times actually. Maybe Meghan or another Admin could clarify?

I've used Cosmic V2 several times and have just installed Viking Coat on my daily driver for it's winter protection this year. Can't really comment on the differences in durability yet, but Viking Coat should be the more durable of the two. I have not been disappointed with any of the PA products I have tried. Both Cosmic and Viking Coat are stupid easy to apply and and very little product is needed. The gloss is absolutely awesome. Durability is subjective as it depends on the environment the vehicle is used in/kept in and how it is maintained. If it only lasts a year, I'm personally fine with that as the application is very very easy. No worries with "high spots" or flash times with either of these coatings. They are probably best categorized as "super sealants."

Which one is applied like a paste?? That's the one I want to try

I haven't used any PA traditional coatings, so I can't comment about those. I have, however, used Viking Spritz, High Gloss and Supersport. I think the advantage of these products is their ease of application, and truly a little goes a long way when you spray them on your MF or directly on the paint. The solutions themselves are odd in that they have chunks of things in the solution that were disturbing enough when people start to use them that they question whether they have defective products.

I don't think it's appropriate to compare Viking Spritz or High Gloss to Wolfgang Uber Ceramic or Gyeon Mohs, but it may be better to compare Viking Shield or Viking Coating (or COSMIC) to Mohs, WG, etc. As far as coatings go, PA is definitely on the upper end of the price spectrum and people have their preferences/practices. I've gotten great results and longevity out of Mohs, Gtechniq and WG Uber (as well as some other non-PBMA coatings). With the exception of WG, they all come in at the same price-point or lower than do PA coatings (not spray variety).

As far as the spray coatings (Viking Spritz, High Gloss, Supersport), I will plan on using them up as "toppers" along with all my other "toppers." Not sure I would use them as primary coatings, however. They do look amazing.

Both Cosmic and Viking Coat apply the same way... just as you would a wax or sealant. They are both a thick creamy consistency similar to a polish. You use a soft foam applicator to apply, either by hand or machine. I've done it by hand and via GG3 with a Lake Country ThinPro red waxing pad. Just a couple of small dots on the pad and your good to go. Spread thin, a little goes a long way.

Not sure exactly what you mean by "applies like a paste," but hopefully I answered your question.

Yes, that's what I meant, awesome thanks, I think I'm going to run it this year. I have hi def Paint sealant on my car now and want to see how long it will go but I like to try new things to much for that

You have to look at impact to PBMG and apply some common sense. Why would they care in this case?

It's totally okay since its sold at Autopia :props:

I have made numerous posts on here about their products as they are carried at Autopia.

Prepped with Esclate and I machine applied Viking Coat, it goes much further when machine applied. 4" pad on my Mini.

This was done back on December 26th 2015
