What did you do today non-detailing related?

That would be so great to bring to a show

I found this on the internet today... Stunning.

Wow! What a beauty! And I would say it’s worth it.

Take that 77 over a new suv any day. In my younger day that 84 vert was one of my “it” cars...

My 1st car was an 82’ Eldorado Biarritz that looked just like it except mine had the stainless steel top.

I came close to getting one like that for my first car but the engine was basically shot. :(

I bought that car for $1,300 dollars after it had been sitting parked in a driveway for 2yrs with the drivers side window rolled down inoperable.

That car became my 1st great detail transformation. The previous owner who was a friend of a friend forever told me how he regretted selling the car after seeing how clean I always had it.

Great times in that car. Being 18yrs. old and that car being front wheel drive with no center console had major advantages.lol.

My first car, that ‘89 Coupe deVille, was the car that turned me into a detailing nut. I’m so happy I kept it after all these years

Oh yea. My mom basically inherited a 85’ Sedan Deville with only 30,000 miles on it a few months before I bought my 1st Cadillac. I drove that car to prom. I begged her to let me buy it but she wouldn’t let me. I didn’t really want the Eldorado at 1st but I had to make the smart decision budget wise instead of financing a 88’ Fleetwood Sixty Special that I had fell in love with even though it stalled out during the test drive.

Looking back it’s a good thing I stayed away from that car because my mechanic who was a mechanical god warned me against buying it after he noticed a bunch of obvious mickey mouse repairs they had done to it.

Between that car I wanted and my mothers mint condition Sedan Deville staring me in the face everyday + having to ride the bus home from work I was pretty bitter about things for a while back then because I couldn’t afford what I really wanted. Then the Eldorado fell in my lap and I learned the art of buying great cars for nearly nothing.

Gotta love how you can get some great cars at a great price if you do your homework!

I just quickly looked and can’t find one like for less than $3.5K minimum. You did really well!

Wow! I’m blown away too!!

I’ve currently got my eye on this car. I saw it the day it listed and figured it’d be gone that same day but surprisingly he hasn’t sold it yet... More details have been provided and apparently it’s only major issues are 2 windows are broken and need replacing [the back and 1 passenger side] and the tags are from July of last year. Says it runs great. Platinum V8. 22” wheels, 2 have minor dings which will cost $140 to repair, newer tires already on them... But for that price I’m seriously thinking about it. Dude lives next town over and seems legit.

That’s very handsome and those wheels look great without being over the top. I would watch it closely but make a decision soon since it sounds like it won’t last!

Oh it’s been hot from the moment it posted 2 weeks ago. Lol. Older white dude too, not some young person...
I love my car but I have been thinking about the difference a smaller quicker handling car would be as a daily driver. Something like that would definitely fit the bill.

Something tells me we might be seeing a new detail write up from you on a new car sometime in the near future then!

$900? Wow how many miles are on that thing.
