Should a soap have high lather, and foam features?
I tried meguiar once and I didn't notice high foam. Is it a hype?

Which Meguiars soap are you talking about?

Personally, I think a soap outta have alot of suds. There’s people who say that doesn’t matter. Well they can settle for a lackluster experience if they want to... I’ve never used a low foaming car soap that didn’t do a mediocre job on a dirty car.

I find Meguiars hyper wash to give me plenty of bubbles. If you're talking about foam in a foam Cannon, try putting more soap in it. I find that tends to create more of a shaving cream rather than a watery soapy mixture

There is no "best" soap. There are many good ones out there though... Optimum, Megs Hyperwash, Poorboys Slick & Suds, McKee's 37 all come to mind.

I have been using Megs Hyper Wash for some time now, and will continue to do so. Great stuff! It was my #1 for a along time, then I tried CarPro Reset, that is my current #1. But for the money I use Megs Hyper a lot.

Miguiars hyper wash has it all. Cheap. High foaming. Leaves nothing behind.

Meg's Gold Class is great. I use CarPro Reset mostly though. 1oz will make 5 gals of very high suds.

This is what I use Cars / Boats

Meg D110
Meg Gold Class
CG HoneyDew on MTM Cannon

I also like hyper wash and optimum car wash. If hyper wash smelled like gold class it would be perfect

If you think Gold Class smells good you should get a whiff of Shampoo Plus. It’s even better.

Look no further than CG Honeydew. Also it all depends on your water quality. "Hard Water" or high mineral content will reduce the amount of foam from a soap. IMO just get some small bottles of all the soaps recommended in this thread and see what works the best for you.

When I’m not using WWs/RWs, such as
Meguiar’s D114 and/or its ilk; the below
two products meet, or exceed, the vast
majority of my car-washing purposes.

-Meguiar’s Car Wash Shampoos
(such as: HyperWash, Gold Class.)
-P21S TAW

I'm a big fan of carpro reset. You can dilute it a little higher than 1:500 all the way up to 1:1000 to lightly dirty car. The 1:500 is enough to decon wash the car at a great outcome. Lower dilution I have seen an impact on some LSP. The best part with reset is the lubrication of it and then it's not leaving anything behind. Which I like so I can get the looks I want on the paint. Either it's the sealant or spray on rinse off coating product or if I want to apply a QD or glossenhancer product after the wash. Know I have bought another car soap like reset which will be fun to see if it is more effective to clean and gets better lubrication.

Another car soap if you don't mind some poly charger left behind is Ultima Paint Guard Wash. It's very concentrated and gives great lubrication and great suds. Cleaning ability is great too.

Ultima Paint Guard Wash, car shampoo, auto wash shampoo, car soap, lubricating car wash

There is many best soaps for you. It's just to find what you like what the car soap has for capability to your likeing. For an example I have found a car soap which is ceramic infused car soap. It really shows a great finish after washing and holds up to a month or 2. The suds in those car soaps is almost non or decrease very fast. But as long I feel a great lubrication and cleaning ability I'm good. Waterless or rinseless wash products don't suds either but it's still no problem to use.

If I would be able to get Hyper Wash at the prices you get it I would have it in my arsenal. And if would had a business it would be a no brainer to have.
