What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Same here, Roger.

It was 75 here today, and will be a bit warmer tomorrow and Monday.

I did a quick bucket wash with GG Brilliant Finish, hit my tires with some DG 253, and put another coat of 476 on my hood and roof. I stopped there because this was after 3 hours of yard work/leaf blowing/gutter cleaning.

I'm old now, and tomorrow is another (warm) day. :)
You know what Paul, you can look forward to that new Griot's Garage Ceramic wash that just came out during SEMA, Madmerc sent me a pic of it. Yet another new product to look forward to in the spring of 2021....damn, 2021, time is flying the F by, my God

Kicked off our 50's with this crappy 2020. Let's hope being 51 will be better, Rog! ;)

It has to get better, my brother.

That is actually my life mantra. And it comes true 99% of the time........... :)

I rinseless washed the SS using Adam’s Rinseless Wash in a bucket chock full of fluffy MF towels. Adam’s Ceramic Boost on all surfaces but the tires. They will get Adam’s Tire Shine in the AM before I head into the office.

Does getting a Pedicure count as detailing?

^ So do I Roger! A Jeep is not my cup of tea by a long shot. ^

I followed up cleaning the SS by rinseless washing the wife’s Beast using OptiCoat No Rinse with the BRS and a few fluffy MF towels in a bucket. Optimum Car Wax was used as a drying aid and Adam’s Tire Shine on the tires.

Now time for a Goose Island 312...cheers!

Have you ever used the BRS on the SS? Leave any marring on dark paint?

After taking my daughter Kendall to the park I did a Griot's Garage Brillant Shine rinseless wash mixed up as a WW to the ES. Now it was dusty for some reason but the amount of black on my Eagle edgeless' really had me scratching my head! I just washed and 303 graphene coated it yesterday and now today, dust and dirt, looked like I hadn't cleaned it for a week

Yes, I’ve used it on the SS many times, but never by itself. No visible marring that I’ve seen. When use the BRS I make sure to leave it in the wash solution while I do the wheels and tires. That seems to “soften” it up. I also make sure to use just enough pressure to not drop it while applying the rinseless wash solution to the paint. I also do not use it on the bottoms of any panels. That’s what the MF towels are for. I prefer the many fluffy MF towels in a bucket method since I’m paranoid about my near flawless black paint.

Is that bowdens After Glow? How do you like it?

Yes, it's Bowden's, I love it, I bought it on special. I've never used a drying aid before, I've used a few spray on wet waxes, which were generally good, but I find it one of those products I look forward to using. I follow the directions and use 2 of the Big Softie MFs, and it does just what it says on the bottle.
