SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

Correct! Since seeing it featured from different parts of the world on YouTube, I have had my eyes on it since then.

Thank you for the feedback. Any word of what possibly it is about UNO PROTECT that they may love the most?

No worries. From what I’ve gathered it cuts and finishes about like Rupes UHS. But has a protection in it. If you are not familiar with UHS. It is comparable to 3D One.

The Adams offerings look interesting, been really impressed with most of the newer products from them.

Oh...I am familiar with UHS all right. That’s pretty impressive! Again, thanks for the information. Seems like SEMA 2019 has a lot of neat offerings so far.

^^^Not always the case, IMO.

Meguiar’s having a Coating is not some
new product offering to the Detailing World.

•Remember back in the 2011-2012 time frame
when Meguiar’s marketed/sold their initial
“Deep Crystal Coating” rendition (M188) to the
folks on the other side of the Pacific Ocean?

•We even had numerous discussions on this
forum about this Coating. Here is one of them:

Meguiars M188 Deep Crystal Coating

Bob

I heard the reason it was not ever sold here was VOC issue it was mention in a forum somewhere so it’s not official but seems possible for a reason not to sell that coating in such a large market during the ceramic boom. I am sometimes drawn to banned substances...

Good deal. I know UHS doesn’t get a lot of love. I think the UNO line will be a hit. No worries. I’m curious to see what else is released in the next couple of days.

Pretty sure at that price you'll get the panel prep, applicators and 50ml of coating. Comparable to other kits out there

If that's the case then maybe it is a value, but still the 1 year duration is limiting.

Great thread thanks Guz are you at sema

No I’m not.

The Meguiar’s coating comes as a kit. 50ml bottle, surface prep spray, applicator and nitrile gloves with the Meguiar’s logo. They are touting this as a 1 year durability, longer if maintained. Also the ability to not worry about high spots.

The UDos is gonna bring rotary back from endangered species imagine buzzing a hood quick with a purple wool 5 or 6 inch and 3D one then switching it to orbital 12mm or 15 mm with a rupes yellow and 3D one won’t even have to pack a lunch.

i'm curious as to how all the different orbit size will affect the polisher over time and how it will hold up in the long run. look forward to more info on it when it's released and the feedback people have on it...

Are you referring to the light they have coming out to view high spots? Actually that might have been a different company.

It definitely has the cool factor and would be quite convenient, but like you said, will it last.

No. I am referring to the actual coating itself.

Fast forward to the 7:39 where Markus goes over all the new products.

I'm sure its already been mentioned but many new rupes polishes coming out. They did an excellent job with the forced rotation polishes they released recently so this is what I want most so far.

No shortage of ceramic products this year that's good! A lot more people will be able to reap the benefits of ceramic and ceramic hybrids especially.

I think the ceramic boom is still going. Curious to see where we go from here?

Meguiars fast finish had/has a 1 year durability too. Idk if they even still make it but its def nothing related to ceramic.

Apex Detail did a review of a newer product that he's predicting is "the next thing", graphene (spelling), maybe this is where we're going next. I know this, the hobby is moving forward quickly but it's great to see all the user friendly coatings, especially since so many of us just can't stop ourselves from topping and layering, just goes to show they are listening/watching/learning

I see someone recently did a test of Admas vs IGL Premier and in his opinion, Adams won out. Some of the more myopic IGL zealots are gonna have kittens if they see that.
