The lengths for a good bourbon

curious if anyone would actually open a bottle a pappy 20 or er 17? some bottles have gone stratospheric and wondering if purchase price vs. replacement price is giving anyone pause. (or maybe i've just reached that 'get off my lawn age!').

If I got a bottle somehow I'd open it....

YOLO!

I have and the 20 is long gone...IMHO was a great $150 bottle not anywhere near worth the secondary market value! apples to oranges but $3,000 can buy you a hell of a nice complete bar with years of enjoyment....Just poured my wife some 15yr and she listed a few $50 bottles she much prefers...

The 20 is my favorite. Currently enjoying some of the whistle pig I posted about previously. I really enjoy the rye part, sweet in the front but very peppery on the back end.

The boss brought this home to me tonight. It’s soooooo smooth.

Have you tried this company for your Bourbon. Litchfield Wine & Liquors Price is around $74

In lue of the COVID-19 freakout, I'm stocking up on Bourbon this weekend!!!!!

Screw the sanitizers and toilet paper rush!

I already stocked up on all the other stuff. Now I’m with you on stocking up on bourbon.

I went to Virginia to visit family and decided to try a new bourbon, Copper Fox. That has to be the worst bourbon I've ever tried. It tasted like pennies were left in it to marinate. Just a FYI to prevent anyone from spending $50 on it.

Apparently it lived up to it's name.

Thx for the heads up!

Regular Blanton’s or SiB? Either way congratulations !!

We got lucky when we did the bourbon trail this year. Can home with (2) regular bottles of Blanton’s and a bottle of the Gold from Japan.
