What was one product you loved to use that isn't around anymore?
 
The wax shop super glaze was my favorite wax back in the late 80's - early 90's. That stuff smelled like an oil based solvent lol, but it was so easy to put on and wipe off. You could remove bugs pretty easily with it too. When it sat for a couple months in your garage, it would separate and look like it has been sitting around for 20 years. You definitely had to shake it often while using it.

One I loved is still around... Dri Wash and guard.

The old formula of Eagle 1 Nano Wax. The good ol' days of using whatever Auto Zone could provide.
 
Dupont No. 7 Chrome Polish. Not the environmentally safe stuff they make today.

I really miss old school 3m Imperial Hand Glaze followed by Meguiars Medallion.

I guess more than anything I miss how new auto polishing was to me. I miss the journey into a new, fun world.
 
Astroshield, Meguiars Lifetime Polymer Sealant, and Deep Crystal Paste Wax, although I’m convinced that it became Mirror Glaze #26 paste wax.
 
Gosh, Blue Coral is a name I forgot. I rubbed a lot of that product back in the day!
 
I still remember buying my 1st Red Box of Duragloss #101. After using Simoniz Original in the Yellow Can....I thought I had made it to heaven. I am not even going to mention "cheesecloth" used for polish/wax removal.
 
Back in the day Simonize as the stuff. It was a little hard to use, but if you applied it in a small area-less then 2 ft it wasent that bad. In the mid 50s you had the first paste wax with a cleaner, Simonize Vista, Johnsons J wax, and Dupont New Car Wax, of course you had Turtle Wax.
 
Remember the CD2 ENGINE DETAILER? That stuff was the bomb. Then due to regulations, it was taken off the market. Everyone bought up several cans before it was off the market. Including me.
