Looks like I'm going to be doing a whole lot more walking than I already am. Be sure to use Stabil if you're not going to drive.
 
This morning, took the Acura out of Sport Mode to Normal Mode, averaged around 32mpg, normal is around 30mpg. It does have a Economy Mode but I’m not going there yet!!

I have the V6 so the mileage is better than the 4cyl.

Time to squeeze everything out of it with the high prices of gas.

Our government wants to buy oil from Saudi, Venezuela, and Iran for God sake ###!!

How about using the American or Canadian resources?

Years ago a pro stock drag racer made up some t-shirts bitching about the NHRA that said...”you can’t fix stupid!” That seems like it applies to the current situation!

Super awsome. Low test is now over $1.70/litre - thats about $5.07/gallon. High test (91) is $2.06/litre - so $6.11/gallon.
 
Gas price just broke the highest recorded average in US History today :(

Damn Bush and his oil buddies, oh wait...can't say that now can we It was preached at nauseum that THAT is why the gas prices were so high back in the day

Well, I disagree.

I think it would be better to just label some threads SNL and go at it. How tension relieving would it be to start a post with " Xxxx, you ignorant f..k, ... ."
It's not like most people posting know each other. So, in reality it's not really personal. It's just people venting. If it was kept in the right perspective, there would be less reason for frustration/ anger.

Yeah, you're right. But, that was kind of secondary to my post.

And since the primary part of my post was a little wacked anyhow, probably no harm done.

Cost $90 to fill my truck up today
 
Just paid $4.10 a gal. for regular in South Florida (Shell Coconut Creek). And to add insult my distance to empty reads 330 miles instead of the normal 380 miles after the fill up. Not sure what's going on. The fuel gauge on the dash is reading full as it always does. Either the pump shut off prematurely, which I don't think it did or I'm getting screwed with higher Ethanol content in the fuel. IDK. The only saving grace is that I'm driving a 4 cyl Camry instead of a 600 hp.V-8 Audi now. 27 average mpg vs. 15 average mpg.
