$5.09 for 87 here in Central Ohio. All part of their plan for which I will not cave. Everyone who voted for this administration is responsible.

Im thinking that with the new bs defense production act we can put solar panels on our vehicles to help curb the gas price issue

Some are correct its all part of the plan. They even have the balls to say it out loud now...really makes me wander how many out there are actually listening

Why don't you learn how gas prices are determined before posting. I don't think it's some secret plan was my point. Biden does have an EV agenda, and he's not doing that great, but it's not ALL his fault. You'd think by now most Americans would understand this. Could they be doing more? Possibly yes.
 
For a bit of an international perspective, I filled up the FJ as I was leaving work this afternoon, 59.06 litres - 15.6 gallons for $106.25 AUD - $76.42 USD. I think that means my $1.80 per litre converts to your $4.90 per gallon for our cheapest fuel, E10 94 octane. The FJ recommends 95 octane, but has a sticker that says the E10 is fine. Our government recently reduced the tax on fuel by $0.22 a litre, but only for 6 months. I get almost 2 weeks out of a tank, so it's not too bad for me.

Defense production act for solar panels?? Whats the crisis??...other than furthering bidens green energy agenda(which is what the wh press secretary stated).... that does nothing to help the issues at hand.

There is an agenda for sure to move away from fossil fuels that in the short term will not help and possibly hurt the economy. On that point I agree. My point is it's rarely the presidents fault no matter who it is when it comes to gas prices.

You think the other side doesn't do that too?

One network in particular isn't even going to cover the Jan 6 hearing tomorrow. In fact, one woman on that network said they cater to their base. doh!!

Adam schiff just recently made a comment about the 6th committe and said i quote "Our goal is to present the narrative of what happened in this country, how close we came to losing our democracy. What led to that violent attack on the sixth. The American people, I think, know a great deal already".

What narrative is that??.

Back to the gas prices.

Do you believe that if the biden admin was to come oit and say that the us is going to increase oil drilling and production...do you believe that that woild have a positive affect on the price of a barrrel of oil? Then inturn have an affect on the price of gasoline?

I think we need to take a hard look at Jan 6.

Yes I think Biden should be doing exactly that opie and for that he's failing.
 
After some thought, guess complaining about gas prices is like complaining about the weather. As a consumer you have no control. You're going to pay whatever the price is. You have to go to work, shop etc. I currently use Discover for buying gas. 5% back. Till the end of the month. I am also sitting on a $28 get go perk (Giant eagle) that i am hording. Have you felt the price of grocery shopping? :( Seems like we went from a pandemic right to a recession. With my 250 mile weekly trip to work, i am really feeling the pinch. We should go to a 4-day week. But instead we are doing 50 hour weeks with some Saturdays thrown in. Go figure. Sadly it has come down to a lot of family's, do i buy gas or eat? Not to mention the price of everything else!
