Favorite Carnauba Wax!!! Ever...

My list some what in order.
Souveran
Paste Glaz
SSII
Megs #16
MaxWax

Souveran of course .... but Paste Glaz was a serious good friend too. Anything above Zymol Destiny is likely quite nice, but nothing is worth that price of admission. Durability on all carnaubas is not a strong selling point.

beauty or show waxes are designed with looks first, and Souveran has infact won several high end shows. It can be kept up with Pinnacles Wash and Souveran Spray Wax quite easily. That said, it only takes 10 minutes or so to do an entire car if used properly and with the WOWO method. Why complain when a sealant needs this time to cure and this time reapply. Or this wax must be added by hand and warmed for several minutes first.

I would also note because the beading isnt necessarily small and uniform, some write it off long before its gone. It doesnt contain beeswax which is what most competitors use for beading and to try and "assure" the end user their product is better. Beeswax and montan wax do NOTHING for protection and little to nothing for looks. Some like Souveran, suggest they actually degrade from the outcome.

so p21s will bead better than souveran because of the beeswax?

the original (not new 100% carnuaba) P21S was full of beeswax and beads so uniform and sweet, you'd have thought it was Zaino. Never seen another "wax" do it in such a manner. The newer release is not so uniform and supposedly doesnt contain beeswax any longer.

Beeswax is cheap, and you'll find it in alot of those OTC wash/wax products. Its because most equate beads to protection or just waxed look. We all know protection from UV exposure and to the elements is the better product.
