What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Washed it, along with these other cars today. Credit to my friend Brad who invited me to help him out today with one of his long time clients with a very impressive car collection.

I was vacuuming the house, and decided to do the Qashqai while I had the vacuum out. Finished off by giving the interior a clean up with Nextzett Cockpit Premium, the more I use it the more I like the scent.

The first thing my 12 year old niece says is how the VW and my Toyota smell because of this product she likes it 👍

Pressure washed a little bit of my sidewalk
Mostly testing the presssure washer. It had sat up for a couple years and I recently got it repaired.

Will do the rest of sidewalk and driveway later on

Must be a good pressure washer to repair it instead of just getting a new one.

So on the way back from my daughters ice skating practice we ran the TAOS through the touch-free wash. It was dirty from driving in the rain AND pollen, came out "acceptable"

Once home I looked at the EN. Now I ran it through the touch-free wash after work yesterday, parked it and it rained last night on it, didn't move. That said...THE POLLEN, holy sh!t

I decided to use Griot's Garage Ceramic wash and wax on it, 4 oz in their foam gun, dwell, rinse and dry...easy

I haven't dressed the tires because I might be going to a KDM meet tomorrow (N, N-lines and Stingers) and might do it there...after running it through the touch-free wash BEFORE the show

This how the tires look after several touch-free washes, driving in the rain and the wash today. I did spray the tires & wheels with FrankenDetailer and dry. It's a light sheen at best, the Ghost is still there but these Michelins I tell you...

Was a little bored, surfing the web, and thought about some products I wanted to try and one thing led to another, first free shipping and then a free gift (not sure what sampler I'll even get) and there you have it

It'll be nice to have a TAC System product back in the collection, this product is quite the value. The Traceless is something I just HAD to try. The empty bottle will be filled with ADS Pilot for my g/f's TAOS, Adam's graphene carwash soap is AWESOME and Katiba gloss enhancer...I mean, I've got a Korean car and intrigued by my first Korean brand detailing product

Also, didn't see any Tariff charges added to my bill

Had to get ahead of Mother's Day this year. Coated this one in Sept when new. She's listened and not touched it so this was the first wash. I set out to finish a long overdue bottle of Kamikaze Overcoat and did so.

It seems like it is already time to start evening washes. It's a constant sunshine battle... thank you Koch Chemie Fse

This is my 3rd time working on this vehicle and I can finally say that all of the interior and exterior damage done by the dealership “detailers” has been corrected. 3D One and Lake Country blue foam was the perfect combo to remove all of the love marks and the residue left on my pads was surprisingly “dirty”. There is usually a translucent white residue but this was noticeably browner. Used Mohs on the paint, CanCoat on the trim and ADS glass coating for the windshield and now all is right with the world.

I also got to use my new EGO 880 and that thing is a beast. I can see why it comes with larger batteries because it would burn through a 2.5Ah battery in a matter of minutes. I’m sure that if I strapped it to my back I could fly.

Thank you! I've been wanting to get in on this brand but limited buying options.

I like seeing more foreign brands thrown into the competition ring.

Took a chance and it never did rain. Weekly wash on the truck. Finished with flex wax as the drying aid. Refreshed the tires with Griots ceramic tire shine.

what damage did they do the interior? i figured they wouldn't touch that unless it was a trade-in.

The new Ego is almost speed limited with the 2.5's. they may last longer because of that but the blower itself is crippled.

They claimed to have treated the interior and exterior with a ceramic coating. The interior was stained with something. It looks like they sprayed some type of caustic cleaner and didn’t do a proper wipe off. There were trails of dried cleaner on the dash. Not too difficult to remediate but shouldn’t have happened with a $1000 job.
