What car wash soap do you use?

Hey,

I was just curious as to what car wash shampoo you guys use? While I always have at least a bottle of Zaino Z-7 Show Car Wash, most of the time I use a store-bought product from my local AutoZone, Kmart, Target, etc. For example, I just ran out of Meguiar's Deep Crystal Car Wash and I picked up a bottle of ArmorAll Ultra Shine Wash & Wax. I use one of these types of products for regular washes but when I know I going to follow with my favorite auto polish or wax, I typically use the Zaino Z-7 or any other premium car wash product. What do you guys do? Is it that big of a deal to always use the premium stuff? Some of these car shampoos are like $20 for a 16 ounce bottle whereas the average "good" store-bought car shampoo is around $5 or $6 for 64 ounces.

I have tried P21S and thought that it was a little weak on removing bugs on the front of my cars. I have changed to DP Extreme Foam and got the other DP wash as a free gift. I think the DP's washes are better than the P21S. They leave the cars nice and shinny, and it smells good too. Plus it removes all of the road gunk and not the wax. I am looking to try Poorboys though since I have really impressed by some of their other products.
 
DP Extreme Foam but poorboys ,optimum and duragloss are all on par.
 
Optimum and Duragloss when I used traditional soap. Now I use Optimum No rinse 95% of the time
 
Z7 or Adam's carwash when I do a traditional wash But ONR 98% of the time
 
I use Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo. Going to try PB's next time
 
I use Mothers, 1z Perls, and DG 901 plus ONR. Mothers is just a basic no nonsense soap that smells like bananas(?).

1z Perls appears to be a synthetic low sudsing soap that rinses and seems to dry very well (less suds).

DG901 has a cherry smell, sudsy, and sheets well when rinsing.
 
Been Using Meg's Gold Class forever but have just received my order of DP Extreme Foam and can't wait to give it a shot.
 
I hated the Perlz for some reason. low suds, low lubricity, chemical smell. Duragloss 901 and Gold Class are my favs at least for OTC
 
I just bought the wolfgang BOGO after trying out a sample. I also tried the DP xtreme auto shampoo, I liked both actually, very gel like, not watery. my .02
 
I used Wolfgang Auto Bathe until I ordered the AG Foam Gun that came with a sample of the DP Extreme Foam. WOW the suds are incredible, and the Minty aroma is nice too, think I will stick with the DP after the WG runs out.

Whats weird about DP Extreme, is I don't like mints or anything minty, yet really liked the smell of DP Extreme....go figure
 
It does smell minty though doesn’t it? OMG Don’t tell me along with my sight, hearing and taste that now my smell is going?

Haha, no what I meant was it smells minty and I liked it, but weird since I don't like mints or minty type smells generally lol.

Now WG Autobathe...smells...ehhh....a bit kinda like, umm I'll let Supercharged fill in the rest :D
 
I didn't think wolfgang smelled, well gross.... I'll have to go inhale my sample that I have and see what it smells like.
