That looks rough!

I would start with the engine. Cover all exposed electrical and air induction holes first. Hit that with some Megs APC+3:1 and agiate with various brushes. After you have broken up all of the caked on crud and oil you can then rinse the engine off.

Take a break and get ready for the interior. Give the engine time to dry. When you go back to the engine take some designated rags or microfibers and dry off any excess standing water, then dress the engine with your favorite dressing.

Depending on the price tag on the job I would recommend pulling the front seats out for easier access to the rear seat, carpet, and center console. Pull the mats out of the car and set them aside. I usually do a good thorough vacuum first. Second I would use some Megs APC+ 10:1 to do a thorough wipe down of all of the plastic and leather. The rest is up to you as far as what order you do your work.

APC+ is amazing stuff and will really turn that interior around. You can even use it on the carpet and mats and in your extractor. I like APC+ for leather better than Woolite. I hope this helps.

i hope you're getting paid well. I can't believe its that beat up.. how does that person sleep at night? haha

The owner of the Honda is in the hospital and might pass today due to cancer. His son wants the interior and engine taken care of. He might sell it or keep it for his daughter.

In other words. NO MORE SMOKING PEOPLE!!!!!!! It's kinda bad for you.

now i feel bad:(

Nope. The engine will be cleaned with Amazing Roll-Off and dressed with Stoners More Shine. Rick Ford showed me how to do it a while back and I loved how it came out. Now, that is what I do when I detail engines. Trust me, that combo works very well in half the amount of time many people detail engines.

As for the carpet, yes. Both of the front seats will be taken out of the vehicle. I will use theMeguiar's All Purpose Cleaner Plus D103 BIG TIME!!!!!! I really, and all of the AG Family, can see what the Aztec can handle. he he he

Make sure your tetanus shots are up to date before you start that job! I'm surprised at the condition of the interior and engine compartment at only 54,000 miles. Looks like it was in a corrosive environment as the drivers seat looks worn out and the interior is sun damaged. I can't wait for the pictures after you're done.

Well, I guess I have one of the hardest interior jobs to do. Anyone wish to help? LOL j/k

Well, dag nabit. I thought I was going to be able to do a great deal of work on the Honda tomorrow BUT, my doctor called me this afternoon wanting to see my before noon tomorrow. uh oh.... Makes me wonder what is wrong this time. She must not have liked the report when I had a doctor do an xray on my trachea over a week ago. Who in here has have to consult about their gastroenterologist or see an ear-nose-throught specialist? I hope to nock out the engine 1st thing Wednesday morning. :props:

Awwwwww..... You do not wish to fly down to Deep South Texas to assist? You know this is going to be an easy one. :hungry:

Hehe if I was closer, I would definitely help you out with that one. That thing is scary inside.
