my plan of attack - seeking reccommendations/advice...

Hi all,

I'm new to the forums, but have decided to invest in some detailing products to detail my car. Besides the porter cable and towels/sponges, below is the list of products I'm thinking of using. Please let me know what you think...

******revised list******

1) DP wash

2) Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay and lubricant

3) DP Final Finish Polish

4) DP Premium Surface Shield Sealant (old formula; price looks too good to beat)

5) Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax

6) DP final gloss spray wax

That's a wrap!! What are your thoughts everyone??

As I read your post it looks as if you have the elements to complete a detail and have a clean shiny vehicle. Nothing that you posted gives me information as to the need of paint correction so what I have read appears to be a proper set of products to accomplish your goal.
 
You will not need AIO if you are goint to use Wolfgang finishing glaze.
Be sure to rewash, or wipe down car with 50/50 water/alcohol mix, as sealants need a clean paint surface to bond to.
Also I would apply 2 coats of sealant (12 hours apart), then top it off with Liquid Souveran.
 
I'm going to be a little different then the rest that has post already. But what they said is great. Here are some products I use and give 5 stars.

Thank you all for your input. So it looks like it wood be best to maybe do away all together with the wolfgang glaze and upgrade to the DP wash formula also. I think I will also go with the DP final finish polish to stay with same brand and purchase a bottle of the DP mild and super swril remover to have available in case they are ever needed in the future.

Alternatively, do you think it is worth it to keep the glaze and "upgrade" to the wolfgang sealant too?? It's quite a bit more money for the quantities you get, but I'm willing to consider this route too if it will yield significantly better results. What do you guys think??

How about DP final gloss booster spray wax?? Seems to be similar, but much cheaper than Pinnacle.

Product list above has been revised to reflect these changes!!
