glass cleaners and towels

hi all was looking to try either diamondite or dp and was thinking of getting the cobra glass towel just seeing what you folks think -they all seem to be pricey Feed back please
 
Cobra waffle weave glass towels are AWESOME!

I'd never go back to using anything else ever. I got one free with an order once, next order I ordered 5 more.
 
I prefer Sprayway or Stoners Glass Cleaner, and NXT ain't too bad either. I always use the Cobra Glass WW Towels with all of them religiously !
 
I got the Stoner's kit from AG a couple weeks back and I love the stuff.
 
I find that the diamondite glass cleaner and cobra ww. Are my go to for window cleaning
 
I actually mix up my own which I like a lot...I do a 50/50 mix of 91% IPA and water in a 32oz bottle and add in 1 capful of ONR. Second to that I like stoners...the aerosol can is about the best IMO.


Towels it definitely goes to the waffle weave!
 
the best glass cleaner in the world is Adams glass cleaner. its lime green in color. and smells like lime. its awesome leaves my windows streak free and super smooth glass. sorry its not an a/g product . if this is a no no please feel free to delete mods.
 
Stoner's in the can for me. No drip light foam is the way to go. Sprayway comes in second, but sometimes it's too thick and foamy so sometimes it wipes along with the towel instead of wiping away with the towel if that makes any sense. Takes a couple passes.
 
I still like Surf City's glass cleaner but AG dropped the line likely to sales. There is only room for products that sell enough to justify the space.
 
Cobra Glass WW is very good. Diamondite & DP glass cleaners are good but not exceptional. Stoners IG is as good and OTC. I like ClearCote Quick Shine better than any glass cleaner Ive used.
 
The Cobra blue WW glass cleaning towels are the best I have used to date. I also use Meguirs Glass Cleaning Concentrate, diluted 10:1.
 
Now I use Stoners invisible glass in the spray bottle and it works amazingly well, with any kind of towels I've used (even paper). I've never had smuges or streaks once even in smokers cars. I haven't tried either of the ones mentioned here except Windex and diluted 70% IPA, but stoners is so cheap and effective that I don't see myself ever needing to try another glass cleaner. All it takes is one or two sprays per side of the windshield and its spotless every time.

May I ask why you feel NXT is not as good a product as those two you've mentioned? In my opinion its just as good if not better. Just curious, not trying to start anything. Have you had performance issues with this product?

If you think stoners is cheap, try Meguiars Detailer line, approx $15-$20 for 11 Gallons!!, absolutely fabulous stuff!. :xyxthumbs:

I have the Adam's as well, but I am not too impressed with it. It smells great and comes in a nice bottle and they seem like a great company, but it doesn't seem to have good cleaning ability. You actually have to work the product quite a bit in order for it clean anything, and you really have to work it to buff it out. This causes my towels to lint.

With Stoners, the cleaning ability is second to none, and it wipes off clean in a couple of swipes leaving no streaks at all. It makes window cleaning an easy job.

The best resluts I have had with Stoners is with a 3M Microfiber detail cloth.
