Meguiar's new products for 2011!

I have no clue who Jason Rose is so I have no idea if he did or didn't.

Jason Rose is one of the product development team leads at Meguiar's, and was involved in the development of M105 among other things.

Dwayne,

He's referring to this thread:

http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...05-s-short-working-time-dusting-issues-9.html

See Post #86....Jason did make it sound like a wonder polish was coming out...oh well..should be interesting to see these microfiber pads.

Micah

If I had to guess, Jason was referring to the corresponding Microfiber Compound that is shown with the new pads.... but I could be wrong.

The G110v2 is a failure.

How so? I don't have one (yet) as I still have an original G100A, but I'm curious what makes you feel it's a failure.

It has a lot of the bugs the original one has and new ones.

power cord failures, shuts off randomly.

Not a very reliable too.

Any idea as to when "Coming Soon" might be? :work:

Quite a few items there I'm wanting to try.

I suspect (only a guess) early 2011 ... I hope we hear more during SEMA coverage as I suspect this is only the beginning of good news from alot of our favorite brands.

Well Scott, if I can remember tomorrow I will try to find out more from the Meguiar's booth! I will be so busy walking around.

Here I was hoping for a G110v3...since it seemed every site was on "back stock" of v2's, just like last year when everyone was on back stock of the v1's.

Just wanted to share a couple pictures of some new Meg's products:

Just a quick note, the new DA Detailer line compound offers excellent cut, very low dusting (none according to Meg's), and it's not sticky!

How about a nano coating from Meg's? Sorry, only in Europe at $200+.

M101? Yep, only Europe and more aggressive than M105!

Hey Richard, what is the Plastic & Vinyl Coating? Details on it on MOL are rather vague. I haven't figured out exactly what this product is or what it's for, or how it compares to/differs from Ultimate Protectant. Any chance you can find out?

Thanks for the pics Richard!!! Whats the deal with the Europe only stuff??? Thats a bunch of BS

That DA correction compound has my interest. so does the #101. but Europe only? how does that make sense? something to do with chemical compounds, ect... that make it not legal here?

I'm on my iPad and leaving for a dinner meeting, can someone post the link to my DISO article and to the 3H's thread?

The swirled out black Mustang in those 2 threads was restored using the new DA System.

Have to go...

:xyxthumbs:

This new DA line keeps getting more interesting. Do I see three different pad sizes in that pic as well?

Thanks for posting those, nice to see.

So now Mike tells us that stang is with the new DA system. Hmmmmm lol if I recall, the article says..just using a DA. HA, I love it. I think this is a definite for my growing want list. ;)

Shane, the plastic & vinyl coating is an aerosol dressing that is very similar to the original. It was mentioned that a change in the formula didn't work so well, and in a way they went back to what worked. Think of it as a "instant shine" type of product. That's about the best I can offer but will ask again if you need something specific.

As for the Europe only products, there is a "possibility" but remember SEMA attracts international buyers also.

The new DA system does offer 4", 5.5", and 6.5" pads. Hopefully I can chat with Mike about this tomorrow... :)

Oh, the new Ultimate Wax products may or may not replace the NXT line. I will be going back to Meg's tomorrow.

All the way back in August? Wow, they've really been working on this one. .
