i have the XMT clay from a BOGO several months ago. It didnt seem much different but i feel it left less residue behind.

really want to use Megs aggressive stuff though. i have come across some tough stuff and that would have made life easier.

I hadn't used clay before I started with this forum, but got the Mothers kit on sale, and am satisfied with it so far. Want to try the Megs clay next year to see how that works, and the plastic srorage box comes in the kit.

:iagree:

I've been using the Megs and it works great for me. A little sticky at times but cleans up easily.

Big fan of Pinnacle Ultra Poly for every day work. For more aggressive work I turn to the 3M Perfect It bar.

Oh my, Santa must have thought I was a good boy this year...

What's your thoughts on the blue? I had a friend in Canuckistan send me a bar of each. I like the yellow which I thought was very similar to Mother's yellow. I found the blue kinda crumbly and not much more aggressive than the yellow. Personally, other than the novelty of having something not widely available I really didn't prefer it over what's around domestically. Hmmm, maybe I oughta get some Bilt Hamber just for grins. :D

I haven't had a chance to use them yet. I've heard one other report about the blue being crumbly. And by the way, that's yellow in the pictures and not green.

I use wolfgang clay. no complaints. the lube makes my hands red if i am not wearing gloves :)

DP for aggresive work and Pinnacle for fine. The DP always seems so stiff to me where the Pinnacle is much more plyable.

I experienced the same with DP and Pinnacle clays. DP is not very pliable at all, but I feel it has more "bite" and it removed contaminents effortlessly. Pinnacle is more of a maintenance clay.
