I know m205 brings out a really nice shine and polish but i would like to apply a last polish! Does anybody know what would be the best thing after m205 to really bring out that last deep mirror like gloss??

You can prob use glaze? M7 should be good after polishing car.

I use menzerna 85RD with a black pad to jewel it in in the last process.

Yea ive been looking into that but since im new to this i still have alot of questions about what to use and what not!

Menzerna P085rd, 3M Ultrafina or Optimum Final Polish with LC black or crimson.

These are fine polishes that that will jewel and burnish the paint to a high gloss. 95% of the final look of the paint comes from the polishing so you will want to spend most of your time there.

While I like using glazes, I personally find megs 03, 05 and 07 to useless unless you are bringing your car to a show or its SS. While oily glazes like the above do add gloss and wetness, they do not last more than a few days. However, for single stage paints my choice of polishes will always be M80 followed by a burnishing with M03. If you were to use a glaze I would stick to acrylic/sealant glazes like: CG Ez creme, CG wet mirror, DS wet glaze 2.0.

Do you have a mustang? If so, what color.....would love to see some pics.

With a name like 93fox, I would have to assume he does.

Back to original post, what about using something like Hyper Polish after m205? Does anyone have a link to that chart that compares polish? I can't find it.

i use Clearkote Pink Moose Glaze with a lake country fine green pad. I just ordered a Gold jeweling pad and will try that out also. I only use the pink moose glaze on really nice cars, like a red '07 3 sereis bmw I did up two months back. It looked glossy and wet and so amazing with collinite 845 ontop of pink moose glaze.

Looks like the comparison chart needs updating. 85rd isn't on there and neither is UC, SwirlX, and ScratchX 2.0. ScratchX is on there but does Meg's even make that anymore?

My answer...it depends. On my wife's 2005 Accord or my new RAV4 (paint in primo condition), then it's Menzerna 85- and I still follow with a coat of KAIO. Currently,I'm working on a 2000 beater Saturn. The hood: after 205, I went to Mothers Reflections Wax, Top Coat. I was not real excited with the result. On the sides: after 205 I put on a coat of KAIO, followed by XMT spray wax- nice. So for me, if the paint is in pretty good shape then Menzerna would be a good follow up. If the paint has seen better days, after 205 I'd follow with KAIO.

I was wondering the same. Wish you could get it in a smaller bottle.

Its a product menzerna had for a while , was sent out on request without the intent on a full release, until it became very popular. From what I understand it is very here to stay..
