Somehow I didn't think it was going to be washing machines or TV's. But it least it's some kind of manufacturing that's staying in the US and hey, right here in the northeast. Great news, congrats, and couldn't pick a better week not to be detailing here in the NE!
 
Wow that is a true blessing Dave, congratulations buddy!

My father in law was laid off two and a half years ago from a company he worked at for 35 years. He's having an extremely hard time finding work.

Being a man and not being able to work is crippling to the soul. Luckily my mother in law brings in some serious money but still ya know? Sad to say but he isn't the same guy he was 3 years ago-hope this economy turns around soon......
 
talk about starting 2011 on the right foot, congrats dave...

p.s. that means spending more money on detailing products, eh? :D

It is hard. I fully understand what you mean. I hope that things turn around for your father in law.

I tried and tried and tried to control the situation, doing whatever I could think to do to get work coming in. It was just the other day that I said to myself "my desire for steady income has just become stronger than my desire to have my own detailing business" it was at that time (just 2 days ago) that I got down on my knees and began to pray for the knowledge of what to do about it all. The word that I heard was just sit still and don't spend money...and then the call came in.

I think someone commented that it was miraculous, I think they were right.

Yes BigAl3!!! I think some Ultima Products are in order but not until my bank account numbers are first straightened out. I still have the envelope that you sent me before the holidays. I can't wait to be able to return a few recent favors.:props:

That made my day hearing that!! I'm so excited for you, and your family! That's why I tell my wife that I buy as much products as I can now that we're both working, cause you never what's around the corner. If something were to happen at least it's possible to make something on the side vs. having nothing to fall back on, but anyhow your post was a real blessing to me! Thank you
