Well, since my Pats are out of the playoffs and I'm not much of a Bruins or Celtics fan I'm looking forward to baseball season with spring training coming up fast.

Anyone paying any attention to the off season moves? I saw that Tampa Bay just got Manny Ramierz and Johnny Damon. Will be nice to play against those guys a good amount through the season. (If you didn't already figure it out I'm a Red Sox fan). Don't know how much that will help their team (depends on Manny's mood on game day). But I think that adding that bat to their line up will help them out. He'll probably be pretty productive in Tropicana field.

Other than whats been happening in the AL east I haven't really seen too much. I haven't really been paying attention to it either, but now I'm looking forward to the warmer weather and the Sox playing every night!

I can't wait to see how the Sox play with all their new toys. However they do, I don't think any team will get a hit against the Phillie's rotation, if healthy all year.
Halladay
Oswalt
Hamels
Lee

Don't worry guys King Albert will take care of all opposition. GO Cardinals!!!:dblthumb2::dblthumb2::dblthumb2:

Yankees fan here!!! And I can't wait for the season to start!!!

The only thing I hate about the off season is that Girardy stays here, I can't stand that guy!!! He has to be the worse manger in Yankees history... (but I think there is a couple of guys happy with that...)

I eat, sleep and breathe the San Francisco Giants. I've been trying to follow their off-season closely and am very excited for one of their minor league prospects; Brandon Belt. If you though Posey had a stellar year, if/when Belt gets the nod to step up to The Show, you better buckle up!
With all of our mid-season acquisitions, and the recent signing of Miguel Tejada(to replace Booooo-ribe), we should be going into spring training feeling very confident in our new line up. Honestly the only thing that I think is worth concern for the club is pitching. Obviously, our starters/ltr/str/closing is solid. We just don't have minor league pitching support in case of an injury.

Will be nice if we see Iglesias hit big leagues this year but hear he is going to have to put in more time in the minors.

I bet we see him around mid-season. They will let him start the season at Pawtucket, but I have a feeling if he's as good as everyone really says, he may end up coming up sooner. Our short stop position seems to be a revolving door!

Yes that has been a weak spot for the Sox's for a bit, I am getting excited, hoping to visit Fenway next week! Would love to make it during season but that might have to wait till next year.

I am a HUGE Florida Marlins fan... (1 of 30 still remaining).... It seems like we have a lot of young talent that is beginning to be molded into some studs within our system... If we can keep some of our big names happy Ramirez, Helms, Johnson, Coghlan I think we can build up another championship caliber team.... It frustrates me though with the history of the club after every HUGE season, 97, 03 when we won the world series everyone was sold off... It sucks... But through thick and thin you gotta stay loyal!!!!!

I'm not sure Fenway is going to be open for tours. They might be, but I know that right now it's got about 4 feet of snow in it! lol. It will be a winter wonderland!

There are a ton of cool bars right around Fenway though. Definitely a spot to check out while your in the city.

Die hard Yankee fan all my life. This season should definitely be interesting. Definitely a shame that we didn't get Lee but I'm pretty happy with some of our other pickups. Andruw is an old soul but older than Jeter and Arod believe it or not. He will be a bit of an upgrade from Thames as far as defensively goes.

I'm excited about Soriano as well. I know the front office has some mixed feelings, but if he stays healthy and continues to have that drive, he may take mo's spot one day.

Jesus Montero could be the next big thing if he fine tunes some of his skills. Same with Nova, they both have potential.

AJ NEEDS to have have a come back year. He was atrocious last year.

I'll reluctantly admit the Sox made some pretty nice moves. Will make for an interesting season.

I just don't know how you sox fans tolerate Youkilis.

I love Youk!!!! I don't know how you guys like ARod, but hey to each is own right?! lol.

Sox did make some good moves (some of which I didn't think we even had a chance on). It will make for a good season and the Yanks and Sox rivalry will continue to be intense!

Hey I'm not going to complain! We got Mike Lowell and Beckett out of that deal! But your right. Every time the Marlins get a good team together, it seems like the next year they sell every one off.

Yes once baseball starts, John and I will become instant enemies!!! :bat: I get to start calling him Yankee again and he gets to pick on my when Red Sox die back down in the last half of the season! :props:

I'm looking forward to it! I knew once I saw that Diva Brady on your wall when I first started, heads would be butting:dblthumb2:

Can't wait for Baseball season, it's another sign that winter's on it's way out! And i'm real excited that Atlanta picked up Uggla from the Marlins, and if Chipper and Jurrjens stay's healthy we could keep up with the Phillies...Go Braves!

Life long Phillies fan. If the starting rotation stays healthy, i think they will win 105-110 games. The Red Sox had a real nice offseason also. Phillies and Red Sox in the world series. Go Phils.
