Me? Not tryin to be funny. I am having the same issue as you and subcribed to the thread to read the feedback.

i think they call it a bayonet fitting

Fittings can be found at Northern tool if you have one local.

I was having the same issue with my Husky 1500psi PW. I ended up buying a whole new gun assembly that had the correct fitting. My foam cannon is a screw on/off fitting so I don't have the quick connect fittings.

Don't know if that really helps you much but thought I'd offer what I did.

A Google search for the ar118 turned up with the assembly guide PDF. Looking at it, you have to first attach the lance adapter, which looks like the Foam Canon's Bosch fitting option would fit correctly. Of course, it could be just a little different size and not work at all.

The Bosch fitting worked with my Husky, did you try that one? Can't imagine being without quick connects.

I haven't tried the bosch fitting yet.

It is a pain to work without the quick connects. I just haven't picked them up yet. I plan on picking up a new pressure washer in the near future so I'm going to pick up all my quick connects when I get that.

did you get your fitting from ag-there are 2 that look close but im not sure-just trying to avoid shipping both ways if they dont work

Yup, I got the Bosch fitting that comes with the Foam Canon, fits the Husky. See item 7 on page 2 of http://www.arnorthamerica.com/blueclean/AR118 Manual.pdf, the "Detergent tank". It looks very similar, it even has the same general shape at the base but again, it could very well be slightly off and not fit at all. Not sure what to tell you.

How about this, You measure the dimensions of the part you have and I'll measure my Bosch fitting. Then we compare numbers.

Bosch Foam Cannon fitting measurements-

Tip to front of wing= 1/2"

wing length= 1/2"

end of wing to base= 1/2"

tip diameter= 1/2"

base diameter= 5/8"

wing span= 15/16"

mine looks like the lavor fiiting-
it measures i inch from tip to wing

Good thing we checked... Now, who has a Lavor fitting??

Edit: If the Lavor and Bosch pics are to scale in the AG store, the Lavor is 1 1/2" tip to wing. :awman:

that fitting is one of the ones ag carries ,but i got nick workin on it,he wanted me to send a pic of the one thats on the foam bottle-but i dont have a camara so i told him to google it. the tollerences are so close on those fittings-i hope the next guy doesnt have to go through this

I have the same PW and ordered a Foam Cannon w/ the Lavor fitting, it is too thick and does not insert deep enough into the gun to twist and lock. Shopping around for a new spray gun as advised by AG...

You need a 1/4" hose with 22MM twist fitting at the washer end, and a 1/4" quick-disconnect at the other. You WILL need a new spray gun and lance however. This is the BEST way to go...
