How high do you predict they will go $

Unbeliveable. I gave the girl a $100 bill when I filled mine up and left there feeling very depressed with the change I recieved back :(

Why are prices so high?

My newest record is $54.00 ... for a toyota celica! $3.74 per gallon. Morrison TN.

gas has put me in the poor house! period. $3.95/gal here. i put 260 miles on a week for work. its to the point do we buy gas or groceries? total BS!

$43.25 for 10.925 gallons. (can you say bend over)

$4.00 and counting in the metro D.C. area. Your absolutely right, it's either gas or groceries. I wasn't thinking I'd go on a diet in this way.

cheapest diesel around here is $4.49. I put in 20 bucks yesterday and almost got 4.5 gallons.

I thinking about going on a weekend drive up to mt hamilton to modesto. Maybe 70 or 100miles of hairpin tuns and me going a bit to fast in my old benz.

OH NO! Say it ain't so!!!

$3.90 here where I live. Cost me just shy of $68.00 this morning.....:bat: If there were any other pissed off icons I would have used them as well!!

Oil is traded exclusively in dollars, and the dollar is rapidly losing value. It takes more dollars to purchase commodities (oil, gold, silver, ect). Willful blocking of domestic exploration and recovery, no new refineries, ethanol subsidies, all the different fuel blends for different parts of the country, all add up to a steaming bowl of not good.

All great points Brian! Wait until the dollar's no longer used as a benchmark for pricing!!

USA

  • Too far in debt
  • No precious metals to back the dollar
  • Printing more money
  • World opinion
  • Low paying jobs

Standard & Poor's has attached a "negative" outlook to the United States' sterling credit rating. The ratings agency did not actually downgrade America's debt, currently rated at AAA/A-1+. Rather, it said there is a one-in-three or better chance that it will downgrade it if the United States does not get its fiscal house in order, and quick.

Same here!! I have a 2011 Ford E350 with a 33 gallon tank. It cost around $140 to fill up. Toyota Highlander is around $80.

$4.09 per gallon here yesterday morning when I went to work. $414 when I came home.. Sucks to drive a full size 4x4 these days.

Pfffffft.....Yall are behind. $4.22 a Gal here. 69$ on my last fill up in my mustang..14 gal tank. Glad the diesel is down right now kinda /:

$3.81 here in Sarasota...cost me $80 to fill up my Jeep this week. Time to bump up my detailing prices to compensate for the increase in gas price.

Has anyone else noticed their car not getting the mileage it use to? A friend of mine blames it on the new ethanol mixture

When it gets to $414 a gallon, thats where I will have to draw the line

Time to bump up my detailing prices to compensate for the increase in gas price.

I thought of this, but I think I'll just stick at where I'm at. I'm afraid detailing will be a luxury many will cut out of their budgets. I don't want to give them an excuse due to another price increase they were not expecting

I just have two words to leave you on....
