Actually, I've never met Bill (aka LegacyGT) other than via the virtual world. Based on everything I've seen and read about him, he is one of the good guys. I look forward to meeting him at DetailFest this year.

And here's the funny part, I have to travel to Florida to meet him and I live 2 hours away from him. :laughing:

I am glad to see everyone getting excited about Detail Fest 2012! I can tell you this Max and I sat down last week and started doing some heavy planning for this event! A huge event like this takes a lot of time to plan out, but it will be well worth it! Looking forward to all the forum members input as well!! And if you feel to shy to post here please email me...

Ok so I've went through the entire thread….and let me know if I got this info right.

Detail Fest 2012 will be held March 24-25th at the AG site.

It will include vendors there are selling merchandise/ teaching you about their products .

There will also be classes through out the day

…. am I missing anything else? Already planning on being in FL around then so a 2 hr drive from Orlando will be well worth it. Can't wait! :D
 
I might be in Orlando around this time too. I might be going down for some training. Hopefully it will be the week prior to detail fest.

I bet detail fest will be awesome, getting to meet the AG staff and other forum members. :) I agree though we should get name tags with our forum names and real ones on it.

CISSP. My business unit within my company has training, from what I am told, in King of Prussia, PA or Orlando, FL. I'm shooting for Florida. Why they won't let me train in the comfort of my own home via a virtual course after hours (which is currently running) is beyond me.

Wow, didn't know you where Information System security. Thats gotta be an interesting job ::dblthumb2::. Good luck on getting the Orlando slot then! And hopefully I'll see you and other forum members at Detail Fest :D
 
Unfortunately I'm not going to be making it this. Money is just too tight and need to spend my money smartly. Have fun everyone.

Thanks!!! I'm gearing up for a cyber position, and hopefully will be transitioning this spring. I'm REALLY hoping that the training will be the week prior to Detail Fest. I really want to meet some forum members this year.
