Hey guys and gals. what do you all use to clean the wheels wells and get that nice clean black look. I find this very difficult. Thanks in advance.Pp

I see you've got three posts under your belt, so welcome to the forum. There are a variety of tire cleaner/dressing that Autogeek sells:

As far as a tire cleaner and wheel wells, I recommend Optimum Power Clean:
Optimum Power Clean All Purpose Cleaner 17 oz. New & Improved!

For tire dressings:
Tire Dressings, rubber protectants, tire shine

Some that I recommend are:
Tire Dressings, rubber protectants, tire shine

Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel this thick gel penetrates beneath the surface to give your tires a long-lasting true glow!

You'll have to take a look around the store and find out which one you like the best. If you don't want to commit to a certain dressing, AG has some free samples with every order, of the tire dressing mentioned above.

For wheel wells, you can use your favorite tire cleaner or APC followed up with something like CG Barebones or Griot's Undercarriage Spray.

I was talking about wheel wells. I cant stand when you detail a car and have nasty dirty wheel wells. lol. Makes everything you just did look like poo. Thanks for the advice guys.

Yeah my bad...I went back and edited my response. I use the Optimum Power clean and a MF wash mit. Works pretty good. I think Mothers has a wheel well brush...let me see if I can find it.

OPC and a wheel well brush. Then dress with 303 aerospace or something similar.

A spray of APC followed with a stiff brush will work fine but a pressure washer makes it so much easier. Even a cheap 1600psi model will clean them remarkably well. I have taken to spraying an acrylic dressing on them after cleaning and they are much easier to keep clean afterwards.

I use simple green and an old bug sponge. Then I use a cheap foaming tire spray (Costco) Comes in 4 packs.

This is done prior to the wash, so the tires and wheel wells get the foam. Wash the car, and dress the tires after.

I use CD2 engine detailer for the wheel wells. It works pretty good. I hate the gray look of the wheel wells after the tires are nice and deep black

This is what I use.

Wheels
- Meguiar's Wheel Brightener

Tires - Amazing roll Off

Both of these are quality products however the Amazing Roll Off is obscenely expensive and can be replaced with a product that performs equally as well for less than half the price. Meguiar's Super Degreaser or Optimum Power Clean :props:

Tire Dressing - Ultima Tire & Trim Guard plus

How bout the amazing roll off? I got some on bogo and have yet to try it

Not a fan of ARO. Maybe I'm using it wrong. Bleach-white seems to do a hell of alot better. As for the wheel wells on my F150 I use for Cleaning: Diluted APC (purple power is my go too) with a fenderwell brush. Dressing:CG Bare Bones wiped down or cheapo tire foam spray if I am in a hurry. I dress the visable frame rails with Sonus MotorKote. Looks great and lasts.

A good APC (Purple Power is my fav) and wheel brush (long handled). Might take several cleaning cycles depending on build up. I use a sanding block for stubborn road paint or tar. Then I dress it with Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care using a foam tire applicator. For quick details I use any cheap or on sale tire foam or protectant.
