2011 was such an exciting year here at PBMG. The PBMG warehouse was expanded by an additional 9,000 square feet, Mike Phillips' book, The Art of Detailing was released in paperback and e-book, the Blackfire line was acquired, and so forth.

Of all the exciting things that took place at PBMG in 2011, which one was your favorite, and why? What new products or product lines were you most excited to see join the PBMG family in 2011? What would you like to see come to PBMG and Autogeek in 2012?

Everyone that replies will automatically be entered to win some wax! We have one jar of Migliore Primo Carnauba Wax and one bottle of Migliore Original Blend Liquid Wax to give away. The two winners will be picked at random on Friday, January 13th.

I'm thinking about making a peanut-butter and bacon sandwich. I hope I win this wax!:xyxthumbs:

The expansion and change to PBMG was the coolest thing for me.

Iron-X and Opti-Coat are the hands down winners of 2011 in my book. Very happy to see the Car Pro line including Tar-X :)

I think the most exciting thing that happened in 2011 was AG's awesome customer service....oh wait that happens every year...so I guess it would have to be acquiring Black Fire.

I think my favorite part is this forum and all the great information. Products like Iron X will save me time and money when the spring detailing season starts. The Black Fire line of products is awesome, I'm glad to see that line will be expanded.

The most exciting product line added to the PBMG family this year was probably Chemical Guys.

my favorite part was "stumbling" across this forum.... all the things i have learned.... and the progress ive made in the detailing area have overflowed into the rest of my life... im very thankfull for AG community

Hmm, that liquid wax looks interesting :D

Expansion of PBMA of course!

I was very happy to see PBMG expand in 2011 acquiring more warehouse space. Success in this economy is not an easy task and Max and the entire staff are all responsible for such greatness.

For 2012 keep doing more of the same and it will be an awesome year.
From the incredible Detail Fest to amazing products like Blackfire and the best customer service in the industry no one does it better!

Two highlights in my mind was the acquisition of Blackfire (no need to purchase anywhere else now for me) and the development of the semi-permanent coatings. Both really changed the products I use and how I do things. Looking forward to more great things in 2012.

I spent much of SEMA week in "Autogeek Row". It was great to have all the vendors and products in one area.

The Blackfire line has piqued my interest and I can't wait to try it.

Randy

For me it's got to be the acquisition of Blackfire. The feedback on the product line has been almost universally positive, and the one product I've tried (BFWD) has really impressed me, so much so that I've ordered a couple of other products in the line. Being able to get it from AG, where I get the majority of my other supplies, makes things a lot easier.

For 2012, continued improvements in the PBMG house brands would always be welcome, as would the entry of additional brands to the store, such as Buff and Shine, Bilt Hamber, and Wolf's Chemicals (CG is already with ACC). However, what I'd like to see would be an AG-branded, Flex-made PC-style DA polisher - isn't that what Mike and Nick discussed during their secret meetings with the Flex people at the Flex HQ? :D

I second all the wonderful new products from Optimum and Carpro

I'd include Prima but their stuff is sitting on the shelf waiting for my spring detail...

Aside from the many many many different and awesome products, honestly...my favorite thing that happened this year was getting to know the forum members. There are some really awesome people on this forum. And it is a really nice feeling to know that there are people on here who are helping others...others like myself...to be successful. Its a reflection of their character and to me, that tells me who they are in real life.

I remember when Tim aka Dad07 reached out to me in PM's and told me he was going to send me a sample of M105 & 205. I was amazed at how great some people, like Tim, are. BobbyG is always willing to take the time out and give me advice, and Ben was/is so anxious to send me out a sample of BFWD. Tim and Ben I PROMISE I will try this stuff out as soon as possible and I will post a review. My apologies in the delay...I know its been FOR-EV-ER!

One of my most favorite products I tried this year is the XMT 360 spray wax. I'm STILL amazed at that stuff...I absolutely love it! Born To Be Mild was another favorite product of mine. The dilution ration is absolutely bonkers and it does an amazing job at cleaning the car.

When I first heard about the Blackfire line coming to AG, d@mn near the entire forum errupted with cheers. Thanks to Ben, I'll get to know what the hype is all about. Soon enough Ben...soon enough.

I'm just looking forward to another great year...more products, and sharing more experiences with each other. Last year was awesome...lets make 2012 even more awesome.

On a side note, if I'm picked as the winner, I'd like to actually do something different and nominate a few folks who I want to receive the wax. Lets see if we can split that wax up and give them to 5 individuals that I choose. By splitting up, I mean taking that tin of wax, and chopping it up into smaller pieces of wax....is it possible AG?!?!?! Nick?!?! Meghan? Ya'll got something that could chop it up?

OH!!! And how can I forget my "Happy Friday" threads that I started this year!!!!

My favorite part of 2011 was doing my first ever paint correction. All thanks to the guys at AG and all the help from forum members.

I would have to say the most exciting every year is BOGO's. I look forward to them 26x a year.

Next year, I always like free shipping. Paying shipping is one of those things that bugs me. Call me nuts.

Miles book is cool, got one for a friend not in the know and he loves it. I would love some sort of customer rewards program. Although, when a company does such a great job, they really don't need one, will just be icing on the cake!
