I hate cleaning windows, period. I can never get it right. What product/towel/item combination do you use and why?

I don't like doing windows either. But having long arms does help.

On a serious note, I have been using Sprayway aerosol glass cleaner with just a regular MF. I never get it perfect. But it is good enough to were it doesn't annoy me when the sun is shining through.

Zep glass cleaner and 3 waffle weave microfibers is how I do it. Leaves it streak free all the time.

Use one for cleaning, and two for wiping.

I don't use glass cleaners at all on exterior. My car shampoo (ultima) leaves them crystal clear with no streaks at all. On the inside I use Stoner kit.

Make sure the windows aren't hot as hell, that is the best tip I can give you. It make a huge difference.Im the MAN

A wet (with water) terry cloth washcloth, and then a dry terry cloth towel has always worked for me!

I use surgical towels and a great commercial non ammonia window cleaner from a Janitor warehouse. Looking to try a different product, but the towels work great.

Stoners IG and 2 microfibers. I spray the Stoners on the towel so as not to get overspray on my paint, then after cleaning I buff with the other clean dry towel. I used to get streaks until I figured out to buff the glass, now no more streaks.

Steam followed by MF towel. Then, Meg's glass cleaner with two towels. First towel to wipe and dry. Second a glass towel to polish.

I see a lot of you are using MF towels. I seem to always have lint on the inside of the windows when using MF. It doesn't seem to matter what the quality of the towel is either I've used cheap ones all the way to WW glass towels from CG and still get it. When the sun hits the glass just right there are all the fibres stuck to the glass. I've tried just about everthing I can think of. Just about to say screw it and go back to cotton towels.

I use stoners and two waffle weave glass towels. This combo works FAN-TAS-TIC!!! I've heard, though, that the new Meg's glass cleaner works even better. I dunno...I'm stuck on Stoners...."if it ain't broke then don't try to fix it"

After constantly getting lint on the window I had a moment of clarity....stay tuned I'll tell you what I thought of!:hungry:
