Glass cleaner... bang for buck

I use Megs and based on my analysis Megs is $0.55 for each 26 oz. bottle created; and it works well. I have Stoners as well; which runs at $5 for a 26 oz. can. Once Stoners is gone I'll be dedicated to Megs.

I use Megs aswell. Hard to beat it imo. Cheap and does a great job, plus you gotta love the smell.

I'm gonna try out CG's glassworkz; looks pretty good and can be diluted too; but you can't eat meg's dilution ratio and price

OMG you gotta try same clubs stuff! It's incredible and super cheap...best stuff I've ever used besides steam!

Zep's professional glass cleaner. The one that's ammonia free. one gallon makes 32 gallons of glass cleaner and it's the same price as megs and can be bought locally at home depot.

i use the Megs stuff and I think its great..I paid 12bucks for it and it makes 11gallons..thats a awesome bargain I think.

I love Stoners.

Especially after I found a bunch of scratch & dent cans at my local 99 cent store.

I bought all they had and went to three other 99 cent stores and bought all they had there too. So far they have all worked, except for one that had a broken sprayer (the shaft, not the removeable button).

I cast my vote for Meguiar's Glass Cleaner. Use it to clean the windows on the house and my glasses as well.

Meguiar's Glass Cleaner Concentrate..... Simply the best I've used regardless of price...:props:

New to detailing and I use the aresoll can of spray away. Is there a reason I should not be using that for the car?

I've never used Spray Away but if it's designed to be used as a glass cleaner then you'll be fine. Where people get into trouble us when they use products like all purpose cleaners on glass. While these won't harm the glass they'll leaves a lot of residue behind streaks.

A designated glass cleaner is tint safe and also has very little detergents that cause streaking. A good cleaner I use is stoners invisible glass. It has become a LOT more readily available in the past few years. You can go to any target, Walmart or big chain part stores and it's there. I feel like a lot of people on here are product snobs and scoff a it when just a few short years ago they were singing it's praises. A lot of these products in a blind taste test you wouldn't be able to tell the difference at all. I watch a ton of people just saturate a window with product the. Try to get a streak free shine. All you need her window is a very very little spay.

Hard to go wrong with Stoners, Meguiars, and CG Glassworks. Strictly based on value, I'd go with Meguiars.

Without question: Zep professional. It's diluted at 32:1!! A gallon is about $15 or less. It is a great cleaner to boot. Zep products rock!
