It's been a slow process, i finally got my website up and running, now don't get mad but i might of copied and pasted a product pic or two from the site.

But give me your honest critisicm anything else i need to add or take out, just want a few of you professionals to take a peep.

By the way the site is Flash Intro Page
did everything myself Feed back please

To tell you the truth, I like it so far! :props:

Your website has a very professional look to ot and it's very easy to navigate through. I like the page layout and the text fonts, colors, and size are easy on the eyes and make an easy read.. :dblthumb2:

The flash into isn't my cup of tea but others may like it....

On your F.Y.I. page, the 2 sentences under the 1st picture:
"For the serious antique and auto collector, this is the only wax mentioned in the Corvette encyclopedia by Tom Benford, endorsed by The Corvette Club of America. The Antique Automobile club of America whom uses this wax on all it's antique Vehicles."
"whom" would sound better with "who".
Other than that, it looks great. The flash into is a little dorkey, IMO.
Good luck.

It looks pretty good. The flash "video" at the beginning doesn't say "Detailing" to me but I still appreciate the idea. I would suggest going over spelling, grammar, and punctuation. The very first sentence I read had (I believe) 3 errors.
"Albany Georgia's most sought after but highly preferred Mobile Detailer amongst collectors and true car enthusiast. I have over 10 years of automotive detailing and reconditioning experience"

I think it should be:
"Albany, Georgia's most sought after and highly preferred Mobile Detailer amongst collectors and true car enthusiasts."

There are a few other spelling and spacing mistakes as well such as, " Instead you get an ol bucket full of wax striping joy dish detergent, and washing your vehicle with a white terry cloth wash rag creating massive amounts of swirls, and fine scratches."

that's what friends are for, yeah i got to get all the kinks out of it, when your trying to do everything yourself, it's gets fustrating does this look or sound right.

here where i'm at there are mobile detailers but neither with a website, so i want to be different with my products and equipment a complete apples and oranges type deal

I like the website, I like the setup, it looks really good. You may want to re-think suggesting "all" car washes and dealers do shoddy detail work or are rip-offs. If your presenting yourself as a professional, I don't think it's the best to bash other's that aren't up to your skill set. For example, did you ever see a physician or dentist badmouth others in the same field in print? Just a thought, but the website looks great. Maybe skip the intro. I also use the BMW sheepskin mit, it's great, just takes so long to dry.

I know exactly what you mean. Especially after looking at something for long periods of time. It just takes a fresh pair of eyes sometimes

I am not sure if I found the right prices, but for your presentation your prices seem low.

How about a picture of you. You do a nice job of introducing yourself with your name but no picture. If I'm going to hire you to come to my home to work on my expensive car I might want to see who I'm dealing with. Your marketing yourself as a high end detailer I would want to see some of your work. Before I turn my keys over to you I want to see what you have done to other peoples luxury rides. You really need a photo gallery of some of the cars you have done. Remember if your marketing yourself as high end don't have a photo gallery full of ford escorts and dodge neon's. The page where you list your prices could have a better lay out. The name of the service should be bigger or bolder. Any time you use an asterisk it should be at the end not beginning. I'm with everyone else I don't like the flash at the beginning. Also I wouldn't advertise any products on my site unless I was being paid.

Like most others have said, spell check is a must. Grammar check as well, maybe just have someone go through and edit it. When you are trying to appeal to those driving higher class cars, their intelligence is "normally" higher as well so they may be turned off by something as minor as spelling and grammar errors. Other than that the site is well put together, and easy to navigate. I would maybe add some before and afters unless maybe I just missed them.

I don't know what everyone else is seeing but there is nothing moving, animated, or consisting of video that I saw.
Just a static page, as were all the others.
I am viewing on an I-Mac and loading from Firefox. I also am running several spyware and adblocker programs.

But what I do see looks fine. The fonts on the homepage phone numbers look really generic though.
I would prefer to see lots of big, clear photos showing completed jobs. Most peoples download speed are so fast today that a few big pictures won't slow down the process much. After all, who is still using 56K dial up today.

THe pictures i haven't found out the way i want to lay them out yet , for the videos, man i have a gallery full just have not found out how to upload directly to my site that's why i have the youtube page for now, but i work at Mercedes Benz/BMW so i have plenty of before and afters from customers who come there for my full details. So instead of the dealer getting paid, i'm starting my on biz, to go fulltime, done maserati, porches.rovers, maybach, and a helluva lot of mb"s and bmw i buff and wax these daily so i know what i'm doing on that level, and they don't bs when it comes to there cars

Looks good from a quick glance. IT professional by trade here. If you need any advice or 'consulting' let me know.

So true. I always find typos in my site revisions after I go through them a day or so later. I can't even remember how many times I have opened my FTP client just to upload a page to add an apostrophe or fix two transposed letters.

The site looks good man! I like your guest book page. I might have to steal that idea for my site!

Don't post pictures of cars that you did at work. Those are not your customers those are customers of the dealer you work at. They paid the dealer to clean their car and the dealer paid you. You need to do some cars on the side then post it as your work. That means on your own time with your own tools and chemicals using your own system.

The black lettering with the white outline on a grey background on the FYI page, when you're discussing #845 and Klasse should be changed. The other text is blue, so I would change it to that.

I don't see a problem with him posting pictures of vehicles he has worked on at the dealership if he is going to be utilizing the same tools/products/techniques as at the dealership. I think the general idea is to display examples of the results you can provide and if those examples are accurate I see no reason not to show off the work he has already done.

On the FYI page right about the ibiz wax is the word "this" looks very out of place

As a business owner I see everything wrong with it. Would auto werx detailing hire a kid to help detail cars that takes photos of the cars he works on then builds a website AAA detailing then displays those photos as if they were done by AAA detailing? All this as he's trying to go after the same customers as you? I think not. Why should he do that to the dealer he works for. If he posts photos of all BMW and Benz then he gives the false impression that everyone in town is going to him when in reality they never met him, they never did business with him and they surely never had their car detailed by luxury auto spa. So whey the heck is their car on luxury spas website? On my site all the cars were done by Afterglow detailing not by joe smith or whoever was helping that day. It was Afterglows customer and Afterglow has obtained from the owner of the car permission to use the pictures in all promotional material including my website. So yea I guess it is a big deal. To me anyway.
