Incredibly Cheap Finds

On the AA griots spray wax call before you drive. It's regional so your store may have it at regular price.

I doubt it.

Not trying to call you out but that seems like bad advice. First, it's not on their website at all. It will be less than the $34.99 they had it listed at. I can virtually guarantee that. The 35oz bottles with different product numbers will be cheaper too. Interior cleaner was $9.99, listed at 14.99 on the shelf.

Plus, please don't call. If you call and your store has it for a nickel, do you think they'll hold it for you? Wouldn't they just tell you it was out of stock or full price and buy it themselves? Even if they told you it was a nickel, someone is going to buy it before you get there.

I honestly wanted to buy it for anything less than ten dollars and they all argued and talked about corporate mistakes and such for 10 minutes. The employees pulled everything on the shelf after I was "allowed" to purchase it and began checking the prices on it.

Your best bet is to take it to the counter with something else that you need and just buy it. I asked for a price check- that's why it got attention.

I think I butt text or butt posted in this case. Meaning it sent those posts because my phone was in my pocket while I was walking. Whoops sorry about that. My apologies everyone.

i stopped by my local k-mart down the street (had to get some $ from the ATM) and they had the clay magic bars as well as the clay kit. they didn't have the clearance price sticker or any sort of sign near them stating so. i had the newphew scan them and they are in fact on clearance and the clay kit was $8 and the clay bar alone was $5. if you have a k-mart near you and they have any left scan them...

I found the gallon of Griots Spray on Wax at Advance last week for $7.36 which you can see in my previous post , but at one store my friend found a gallon of Spray on Wax for $4 and some change

I can tell you this at the AA in Lowell IN. it rings up for 34.99. And from your reciept I called the store you purchased yours at and it rings up as 05 just as you paid. When talking with the store manager he stated based on sales and floor traffic items get marked down all the time that may not not be in another area. I got in on the .05 M34 last fall bought 4 gallons and 4 Meguirs clay kits, total spent .48 so I'm familiar with the 5 cent sales. Lets see who else finds it for .05 and where they are located the M34 was nation wide.

^ autozone use to have .01$ sales years ago and since then i haven't seen anything anymore. it's too bad the sales that some of you're getting weren't available at autozone...

Woah buddy I was just saying the whole "call before you go" advice was not the most sound. I definitely feel bad for you on the $34.99 thing but In my experience when things are no longer on advances site, they're marked down. I am not trying to say something WILL be a nickel at your store, just saying you're definitely the minority on full priced gallons of spray wax. I've seen tons of folks getting them for $10 or less. I definitely agree with the nationwide on some things though, as I said with the $.05 GG interior cleaner.

In the past month I've gotten a few autocraft lugnut brushes and several 3m lens and hard plastic cleaner bottles for a nickel and that was across two states. However, the turtle wax rinse free is $4.65 at one store and $5.85 at another. As with the stoners reach and clean tool, $5.95 in one and $8.65 in another. My guess is they'll be a nickel in a few months if they sit on the shelves that long.

Sorry if I came across aggressive but I was just saying that if I called the store in Clinton instead of going to get it in person, I guarantee I would not have it in the garage right now. I also wasn't posting to say that everyone needs to go to their store right now and score this for a nickel. Just letting you know it happened and maybe someone could benefit. I hope mark, the store manager, and you had a pleasant conversation.

I wish Home Depot carried car care products. When something is recalled or (from what I understand) has been on clearance for more than 8 months, it sells for a penny.

Don't know that i talked with Mark i simply called and asked them to check a number. he said whatis it and I told him he said you mean the nickle stuff we sold the last one this afternoon which was probably you. Also that is how I approached more than one store to simply see if they had it in stock not to check price I'm smarter than that. I got the price because I had him see how many he could get from other stores because they will do that and that is when he told me what the total price at pick up would be for 4 of them. And since he had already told me his price when then talked about it being .05 at other stores. No offense taken but you started off with doubt it and that set the tone.

i'm wondering if it's worth the gamble to purchase one of these. they get customer returns (who knows if there's actually something wrong with any of them) by the pallets and they are priced cheap...

I am debating a pressure washer at 55 bucks but after reading these reviews I think there must have been a LARGE number if them made defective .

i can't imagine ALL of them are defective. some may have been returned because they didn't like it or don't know how to use or what to expect from one (maybe they decided they wanted a gas pressure washer instead). who knows...

$139 for Turtle Wax tire shine (sucks) eagle one wheel protectant and Blue Magic tire and wheel cleaner.
Wheel cleaner works good, tire shine is what you probably think and the eagle one wheel seal sprays a little heavy .
All in all 6 bottles each for $25 bucks is a deal.

If you don't like the Turtle Wax tire shine on your tires then use it for dressing fenderwells. Any cheap tire dressing works just as well as more high priced stuff, none of them last through one rain or snow storm. For water based jells just add some water to thin it down and put it into a sprayer.

That's the same blue magic wheel cleaner that's in the kit at big lots for $4. Comes with a brush, sample of chrome/metal polish, and an aerosol tire shine. Plus a crappy microfiber
