Incredibly Cheap Finds

Just picked up the Meg's Ultimate Compound and Gold Class Liquid Wax from KMart. Just an FYI that the wax lists as price reduced to 9.00 but rings up at 6.00 (at least at my KMart).

Gonna use this stuff to work on my dad's neglected Corolla and my wife's trade-in before I muster up the courage and experience to polish my black Tesla Model S.

Just got back from the local Kmart. Picked up 4 claybars at $2.250eat and megs ultimate polish and compound @ 5.99eat. Never used it but people seem to like it and its cheap lol. Fyi claybars were in the clearance section not the automotive section

Found a Mytee Lyte 2 brand spanking new. $550. Today was a good day!

Microfiber applicator pads from Priceless Foods while getting groceries. I spent twenty something dollars and ended up with 117 applicators!

I visited a Kmart here in northern Virginia and they had genuine 100g Clay Magic packaged with a bottle of clay lube and a cellophane glove for $4.00.

You may want to consider being careful using MF applicators from the food store on paint. Just like you wouldn't (at least I wouldn't) use a MF towel from the food store to buff wax off my paint, I wouldn't use a MF applicator from the food store to apply it - regardless how cheap it is.

No point in going to all the trouble to polish or 2BM wash your/customers car only to add fine scratches with a 20¢ wax applicator.

the cheap foam applicators are good for trim/tires/engine (or any areas that aren't of real concern) and then since they are so cheap (assuming you got a ton of them), you can toss them if need be. i've used cheap ones for spot (scratches) repair, and ending marring/scratching the paint. sometimes like they say, ' you get what you pay for ' ...

The discount applies only when the total order AFTER the discount is >$50. Meaning you need a cart with $100 or more to get the 35% discount. Still not shabby.

UPDATE (5 min. after initial post) --> It's a problem with their web site from what I can see. Once I hit $100 and began to remove items off my cart the discount still remained after the total order went under $100. Hmmm... not sure if I got a better deal than what they intended. :) Thanks BlueBeast!

2 Griots 16x24 drying towels and 1 Ultra thick MF towel 16x24... not too bad.

My local Menard's has 30 packs of 16" x 16" MF towels on clearance for $10.00. They're good enough for interior wipe downs, door jambs and other places I don't want my better quality MF towels going.

No problem, glad someone got some use out of it!

this doesn't work !!!!!!!!

Look at the other post I quoted. Maybe that will help. It said for email subscribers only, so you may need to set up an account.

Unfortunately there is no Advance Auto within a hundred miles of me in Los Angeles. Must be an east coast or midwest chain.

I picked up the last pack of these they had and they're not too bad. It's nice having 3 different colors for different jobs.

I bought a Griots drying towel, 3 pack of green towels, and a mitt last week at 15% from Advanced last week. I returned all but the mitt though once my Microfibertech order arrived. I don't like being indecisive....
