Incredibly Cheap Finds

Have autogeek match the Vitacost.com price for Eco Touch Spray Wax and Tire Shine. They are about 50% off list price with only five dollar shipping or free shipping if you order $50.

The Rag company has 15% through tonight with code 15YRS. You have to order a 70/30 blend and as always free shipping over $30. I ordered 7 of their eagle edgeless in blue.

Keep it up and the thread will get 'Moderated"

I'm heading to Target in the AM. I used the Waterless Wash, Wheel Cleaner, Spray Wax and Tire Dressing tonight; impressed by ALL of them. :props:

Remember that not all Targets keep these products in the automotive section, if not there try the homegoods area.

I've been to three targets and havent found any of the EcoTouch products.

During a visit to menards tonight, I found some "decent", not Incredibly Cheap Deals on some mainstream car care products. They are a bit cheaper than Amazon and other sites:

Meg's Ultimate Compound: $7.00
Meg's Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner: $5.49
Mothers Wash and Wax with Carn. 64oz: $6.99
Meg's Hot Shine Foam: $3.99
Mothers Aluminum Polish: $3.99

Microfiber applicator pads from Priceless Foods while getting groceries. I spent twenty something dollars and ended up with 117 applicators!
117 ?!?! That's like.... (doing the math....carry the 2.... ) That's like 50 Sq. Ft of pads!!

Found out some awesome news today while at CarQuest....

I'm always jealous as Hell of you guys that snag the smokin' deals at Advance since we don't have them out here. Well, I can't say that anymore. Apparently Advance bought Car Quest back at the first of the year and they're in the process of taking the auto parts world by the horns. They're going to turn all of the Car Quest stores out here into Advance stores but dual-label them and they're on track to expand by 500 stores by the end of next year - mostly in markets where they don't have stores. Sooooo, according to the guy I do biz with at my Car Quest here, by the end of September, his store will be completely remodeled and in-built as an Advance store but will be called Advance-Car Quest.
So bring on the kick butt deals!!!!

The only drawback of a gas pw is the sound...(continuous and loud)
with electric , when the trigger is not pressed the unit pauses with no sound..

Good Luck
My electric PW is my mainstay this time of year because of that fact. Here in PHX it's nearly impossible to water-wash a vehicle during the day without it almost instantly drying and if you're having to PW all the way around a vehicle, there's no way to keep the entire thing wet the entire time so as to prevent the ensuing hard-as-concrete, almost impossible to remove water spots. I have my business setup to do nearly everything at night - as in graveyard shift. I have an air conditioned garage which makes it really nice, obviously but with my electric PW, I can still do that kind of work out in my driveway without even beginning to bother the neighbors - and I live in a cul-de-sac!

Cobra gold jr 16x16 MF towels at amazon --- 12/$37...

Fulfilled by PBMG!!!!

I've been getting so much over posting about those 117 microfiber applicators, I have enough knowledge to not use them on paint, as someone thought I would. I used them for applying tire dressing to a commercial fleet of tractor trailers that I do every week for a local towing company. Lol

I've ordered the chemical guys 12 professional 16x16 silk edged towels appear to be the same as the ones from AG. Same tag slightly different shade of gold. I got them for $16.50 or so on subscribe and save with free shipping.

He said that the changes that would be most noticeable weren't going to be products being cut from their inventory rather an expansion of what they carry by the mfrs. they stock. The only name brand that he used as an example was Gates. Currently Car Quest apparently only carries their belts. Once the remodel and rename is finished, they will then have the full line of Gates products both in-stock and online. That was just an example he used like I said but he said as of now there hasn't been any mention of any brands/products being cut or replaced so we shall see. It's going to be a real pisser if they stop carrying Duragloss because there isn't any place else locally that carries it.

I bought the cgs too for comparison. The cobra gold jrs are thicker, seem plusher, and the dual sides more pronounced, so I prefer the golds. The cgs foe the price are a good general purpose towel IMHO.

stopped by an oreilly's out of town running errands today and scored three bottles (silver plastic) of the eagle one a2z all wheel & tire cleaner for $1.xx each. for those who haven't stopped by yet, it's worth checking out...

Love these towels. The 16x24s are my quick detailer towels. They were one of the first MFs I bought when I started getting into detailing last year. Take care of them and they'll treat you well!

Just curious, what exactly do you mean by general purpose? As in you wouldn't use them on paint? Because if so I'd have to disagree with you there...
