2 Gallons of Meg's Final Inspection $0.10

Yeah, but is there any way to tell if they have it on nickel blowout? I found one store not too too far from me that has both, but I don't really want to go over there to find out it's regular price. Yes, I know about the telephone but I'm not sure whatever yo-yo I get on the phone is going to give me the right info.

One manager told me it was a nationwide clearance. AA is no longer carrying the gallons at all so they are clearing them. I think if they have them in stock, they are a nickel. Worth the gamble IMHO. Make sure they ring it up though. One of gallons I bought was marked full price, the other on the clearance rack at $13.95.

Yeah, I'm going to try to go there this afternoon, even though I already have enough stuff for the rest of my life, you can't pass this up for a nickel. No matter how much clay prices go down when the patents run out, it will never be $.05.

I agree. It is really good stuff, but I have probably 5 gallons of various QDs. Hell, this is cheaper than water. I'll likely use it to wipe down while drying or use it for door jambs etc.

In Fuquay NC store it was regular price on the shelf, rang up as .05. You may have to ask at the counter for a price check. I am happy 2Gals for .11 and a $5.00 coupon on the reciept.

I really like Final Inspection. I'm down to my last few ounces and need to get some more. I should stop by after work to see if they have it.

Last night it still showed up at full price online, but today I don't see it or the clay even listed on their web site.

I ran into the same thing. I was looking at it online last night then poof, it was gone this morning!

Yep...go to the store. I bought 2 more today. I am done. 4 Gallons for $0.22. It'll take a while to go through it all.

Nada in Lenoir NC. Talked to manager for few mins...... she said hold on.....came back about 10mins later a said there is nothing in Hickory,Boone,Morganton,Marion NC

cool she saved me some messing around.....Going to check out some others on the way home tommorow.

Well, I'm glad that some of you were able to snatch some up... Every year they have a sale on things like applicator pads, brushes, etc. for like pennies on the dollar. If they closeout all Mirror Glaze stuff, I may have to spend $2-3, and then Autogeek will get my business when I run out! It's a win-win...:dblthumb2:

Thanks to this thread, I was able to score a few items at a couple stores. Megs mild clay, megs fin insp. gal, a few trizact 3000 discs, marhyde paint stripper, and the best was several quarts of duplicolor emerald green metallic paint.

All of that stuff was .05 but not all the clearance items are. The guys at 2 stores did tell me they aren't supposed to sell .05 stuff, but they both sold it to me anyway.

Does anyone know if all their mirror glaze is blowout? I would love to grab some 105, 205, 1 and 2 and possibly some 26. But they aren't exactly cheap. The 105 and 205 they carry are the bigger bottles. I don't remember which one but one is almost $40.

Hopefully they have some stuff here in Bridgeport, CT. Fingers crossed

I used the web search, then went to the closest store that had both. I looked at the detailing products didn't see anything, got bummed out, didn't see any clearance rack, then I asked and was told that any clearance stuff would be on an end cap of one of the aisles. Bingo, two gallons FI and two jars of clay, went right to the counter and got my price check, then forked over 21 cents for the lot, and laughed all the way to the car.

It was so easy I went to look up the other stores that had either one or the other, but as noted, they took them off the website already. I guess they must have only sent two of each to each store, because everyone who has scored these seems to have found exactly 2 of each.

I went to another store and scored a couple more and another jar of clay. So not a bad haul for .35 cents. 4 gallons of M34 and 3 jars of clay.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I got 2 jars of clay and 2 gallons of Final Inspection for 10 cents.

Thanks to this thread, I also scored a few .05 items today. Checked out 3 stores and found stuff at two of them. Both stores also told me they are not supposed to sell stuff that's .05 but sold it anyway. Kinda stupid that they're supposed to somehow just dispose of it but can't let someone walk out the door with it? Dumb.

Anyway, I got a couple gallons of the Megs FI, a clay bar, a few trizact 3000 discs. Even better, I also picked up several quart cans of duplicolor emerald green metallic car paint, marhyde paint stripper, caliper paint prep cleaner aerosol, and 3m pro painters tape. All that was .05 ea. Also picked up a couple things that rang up at the marked clearance price.
