The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

So.......I thought I was going to the Geneva Concours d'Elegance show this morning but when I pulled out of the garage it was lightly raining, so I literally went 20 feet and turned around, LOL! What do you think I did next?




That's right, I wiped down the car, I mean it was all wet. I used FD 2.0 (N914 based with QM) to clean it up. I then grabbed some McKee's fast interior detailer and hit the interior bits. Next I reached for DG rain repellant and did the ext/int glass. Not stopping there I treated all my rubber seals with 303 rubber seal treatment, didn't need it really as I've done it within the past couple monthes but no harm, no foul there! Moving on a 3rd coat of a tire coating since Friday night and even used some of it in my engine bay as well!

Now the car sits till I leave for work tomorrow morning, rain forecast Monday thru Wednesday, figures! On a side not I'm complaining about the rain because of what's going on down in Houston and the surrounding areas, thoughts and prayers go out to everyone down there!!

As she sits waiting for the rain to stop. Went back out and polished up the exhaust tips and removed some tar/goop from the underside of the rocker panels. Nothing that's visible but I'm OCD like that regardless

Got some time to clean the hoopty this past weekend, and even blackout the chrome trim on the trunk hatch. Love those early morning sunbaths in the parking garage at the office...

I should unsubscribe to this thread because this thread takes my interest for detailing away to buying new cars. Lol :)
 
Vtuner, Stage 0. 320hp/400tq est. Massive torque steer and wheelspin into 4th gear. Fun grocery hauler.
