Yeah the design isn't difficult and like you said clearance is a bit tight around the caliper, nothing a proper brush can't take care of. It's the black that's an issue. I'm guessing won't stay clean.

With regular cleaning it really isn’t a big deal. But if you don’t clean then the black looks brown due to rusting brake dust.
 
My beloved 20 year old 240,000+ 4Runner. Best vehicle I have ever owned. Doesn’t use oil doesn’t leak oil. A/C blows cold, heat blows really hot. If I had to drive across country tomorrow I would not hesitate to take her. My wallet might hesitate gas mileage is 15-17 mpg

Oh man so sorry for your baby!! Brand new too :( glad you’re ok though. Ever since you got this Soul I’ve been eying them up, yours totally changed my mind on these.

Thank you, I am quite impressed with the Soul. It is fun to drive with a lot of space and took the hit like a beast. If it is totalled, I'd probably get another one.
