Official Invitation to MIKE PHILLIPS! - Accepted!

Cool news...

Paul aka Sailfish, a recent graduate from my last Detailing Boot Camp Class is going to fly out and give us a hand with the sanding and buffing on this project car.

Very cool Paul.... :dblthumb2:

Here's a picture of Paul using the Flex 3401 on the 1940 Ford Coupe my class was able to work on to remove the swirls and create a show car finish.

K guys here is the plan of attack so far. We get there Thursday and we are going to be having a meeting with everyone that is involved to work out a schedule and game plan for the detailing days. After we have that meeting I will be posting up the LIVE feed times to this thread.

I am shooting for 4 different times per day (Fri & Sat) for the LIVE feed. The LIVE Feeds will average about 30 to 45 minutes in length. I will be recording these segments and will be uploading them to our youtube channel and will create a playlist so you can watch all the live feeds in one place, and in the order that they were shot.

I will also be monitoring this thread, Facebook pages and our Twitter feed throughout the days that we are in Lincoln Nebraska. Below you will find all the links to these sites. I am going to be taking pics and posting them as well. Going to be a whirlwind of work but I am going to do my best to make it feel like you all were there helping us out.

From the pictures Wes sent me I've seen places that will probably be difficult and even somewhat risky to machine buff after sanding.

Before leaving for the day I tested the Menzerna FG 400 by hand and was happy to find it works very good for removing sanding marks by hand...

That is it for me tonight, going to go spend time with the Kiddos. Will start posting first thing in the morning. Proheader... Here we come!

I mean who else would do this kind of stuff ? I mean really . This is something so very special and heart felt . There really are some great people left is this country . To watch this all come together like this for a great cause is really something very special . I am not able to make the trip but I will be glued to this thread and anything else Yancy posts about this very awesome project . No one and I mean no one could pull this off but Mike , Max , and the whole gang at Autogeek . And you can bet when Mike the master and all who help on this project are finish and the last micro fiber towel is folded. The results will be jaw dropping as always . Great stuff guys .
