Hey guys,

Just bought a few Optimum products I have never used before and had a few questions.

I know Optimum calls for 1 oz of theri standard car wash per gallon. I see that some people use .5 oz/gal. What ratio are people using?

ONR for clay lube strengh says 2oz per gal which works out to .5 oz in a 32oz spray bottle. Seems a bit low to me. How much should I use in a 32oz bottle for clay lube strength to insure adaquate slickness?

I have previously used DP Rinseless Wash N Gloss and they call for 1 to 2 oz in 32oz bottle for clay bar lube. This seems like it might be a better amount.

Last thing, I will be using Opt Car Wash with ONR mixed in (for added lubrication) as my maintenance wash for my Opti-Guarded car. Would I notice a build up of polymers if I washed every week or so that would actually detract from the look?

.5 per gal is plenty on all button dirtiest cars. It is hyper concentrated. We have 1 oz per gal on the label because its the "safest" dilution for all applications.

.5 per quart is adequate and safe. More is not always better, but if you want to use 1oz per quart, it certainly won't harm anything and we won't mind you buying more product at all ;)

It won't detract from the look at all. No Rinse and Car Wash both have a very fresh look on any finish...including Opti Coat. Just to clarify though, Car Wash needs to be rinsed.

I use Optimum at 0.5 ounce per gallon all the time. It still produces generous suds.
