Spray Waxes

Megs uqw is good especially when you need a quick bottle just run to the store

I feel like Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant and Meguiar's D156 (Ultimate Quik Wax) are underrated.

Agree.

I have like 10 bottles of Mother's Spray Wax. Got them for $3.50 each on clearance. I'll be switching over to UQW when im done with them.

V7 is amazing

Liquid Glass is under rated.

Interesting I had never heard of Liquid Glass Spray Detailer. Does it actually contain wax/sealant in it or is it just a detail spray? Does it streak?

Here's some to consider:

Optimums Spray Wax
Optimums Quick Detailer and Gloss Enhancer
Dodo Juice Red Tropical
303 Speed Detailer
Zaino Z8
Finishkare 425
Reload (version 2)
Permanon Platnium

I couldnt agree with you more! Its way under rated. It gets dwarfed by the new stuffs marketing....not saying the new stuff is old by any means. Liquid Glass is great but doesnt get any love....its a great cleaner too.

Isn't V7 spray sealant? In that case, if spray sealants are included, you should try Blackfire crystal spray sealant. Works pretty well if you want durability! Great look too.

Ya spray sealants are included! Should of put that in original post

If spray sealants are being included i will throw in my opinion... Keep in mind it is just an opinion :)

WG Deep Gloss Liquid Sealant is pure junk. Applied just after polishing (no prep), after IPA wipe down, after prep solv, etc.... No matter what it's totally useless. The ONLY positive thing I've found is it doesn't streak LOL.

Ultima Paint Guard on the other hand is pretty amazing. Apply it light as it can streak.

Can't say V07 is underrated but it's pretty darn good

CG Ecosmart RU waterless wash leaves a wax behind easily buffed off nice feature guess I'd say it's underrated as I don't read much on it here.

Over rated? Dunno don't use many spray waxes

:iagree: CG Ecosmart RU is great stuff. Car feels slick and looks like it was just waxed. First tried 16 oz. bottle, loved it, just ordered a gallon

I have to respectfully disagree here. Wolfgang Spray Sealant has hands down been a great product for me! Absolutely no streaking, great beading, awesome smell and amazing gloss and shine! What do you mean by useless? Durability wise, looks etc??

That's an interesting opinion I've never used wolfgang spray sealant but considering its Wolfgang I thought it be pretty good lol, I guess not, tell us more why you didn't like it.

AW is meant to be used to aide in drying the car, the water being a catalyst in it's properties. Even when used alone, with the car dry, it's great. I've not used a better spray wax (AW I think is more sealant than wax).

100% Pure truth right here!

Its a spray wax and has water in it and no spray wax should be expected to be "miracle in a bottle". As far as not being as slick, well, please refer to previous comment.

AW is one of the best products I've used on my car and pound for pound, or ounce for ounce in this case, it can't be beat IMO. Then there's availability, CarQuest carries it (if your low and don't have a large order to place with AG), again, score one for AW and then price.....BAM!

I will agree on the "no streaking" and "smell", but nothing else :(

I thought the same thing, Wolfgang so it's gotta be good. It doesn't do anything. I just don't get it.

My latest test: I was checking out my new RUPES and just wanted to do a quick test, but I was pressed for time and really wanted to see how the RUPES felt. I polished my fender ( I got the LHR15 and this thing is amazing btw ) and after that I used Prep Solv. One half of the fender I applied WGDGPS and the other half WGDGLS the deep gloss side is amazing as always and the liquid seal side is like I didn't do anything. It cured from 6pm until around 3pm the following day before I tested it with the hose. It's really like I applied nothing. :( I did get probably one of the first batches when it was released so maybe I got a bad batch who knows.

Edit: just to add that was one of many tests with different prep methods and vehicles. It feels *slightly* slick and I mean slightly!

It's nice to see someone from IL. Ironically I actually got the AW from carquest. It's probably just me but I didn't get what all the hype was about AW, I've recently been using the Flitz, so far I like it its fast, slick, smells good and has some good protection beads like crazy. To each thier own, nothing against anyones opinions, just made the thread to get a nice debate going and to maybe give people ideas to try new things

I use a spray wax called show room shine. Its made by a company out of va called e and m they have been making their own chemicals for the detail industry since the 60s . I believe It is silcon based but not sure . It works great and leave a slick and very glossy shine . It holds up pretty good also . But I would love to try other products out there.

This may help with the AW...this is what I do at least and get 5-6 weeks of coverage on average.

Spray as you dry, then use a foam applicator and spray a panel or area and wipe it in with the applicator. Do the entire vehicle, then buff off.

This works wonders for it.

In my opinion spray waxes/sealants are one of the top car care advancements to date. Never has it been easier to coat door jambs, doghouse and firewall. They are amzing.

CG V7 and Griots Spray wax is all i've own so far. They both work great for me.

I even use spray waxes on my shower door/Windows, water and soup just slide off and help keep it cleaner and make squeegeeing a breezee!!!!!!
