How to Waterless Wash Your Cat
So somebody was talking about washing a cat with the 2 bucket method. Now this method would use about 6-9 gals of water. That's just a waste of water to me.
Being Eco-Friendly I decided to Waterless Wash my cat and show you how to save water even when washing animals.

Here are the before pics:

spray your micro fiber with a little product so it's wet to the touch (my cat is already expecting something. Just look at that face she's making!)

Now spray a little product on your cat, again wet to the touch

Rub back and forth to get the product in the cat completely. Techniques isn't really a concern here but your safety is! I cut my cat's claws before I did this and I suggest you do the same

Don't forget to get under the beak too.

The top is very important as this is where most of the environmental fallout accumulates

I thought dunking them in the bucket with the grit guard would be the easier, quicker and funnier.
 
Lol. I use a similar product for my dog.
 
My cat would have stood for that once and only once. She only got a real bath one time when she decided to follow my wife up the attic stairs and play in the insulation.
 
I should look into this for my shepherds. Funny read. Glad you came out alive lol.

lol, she does look like the cat on the label. She smells great and look freshly washed. So I'd recommend it. I breathed it in while I was doing this and it leaves a taste in your mouth so avoid that. I usually wash her in the tub, she cry's and hates it. But she's going to get washed. This something you can do at the spur of the moment and won't be such a hassle.

Excellent thread. Made me literally lol. I may need to try some of that stuff. I have 3 dirty cats that could use a cleaning. But the worst of all is this big guy....Just as bad as my black car....LOL

Excellent post. I will try this. My cat is somewhat hostile, so i expect this project to be similar to a waterless wash on a car...if the car is doing 40 on the freeway with the hood and doors open.

My cat is all pissy too! She loves to bite. When I got here (used off Craig's list) she was a very mad kitty. So after a few months she realized I was a great person and she settled down but she still loves to bite. So a waterless wash is nice for her because I can do "one section" at at time and she won't get to upset. She's so pissy! Just look at her face, pissy.

I know what you mean...this cat showed up at our house as a kitten a few years ago. She was very much feral and it took a lot of time and determination to tame her. She's usually a sweet girl, but her wild side still comes out every now and again.


I mean, just look at this face....she's pissed. Lol
