What Color Trans Am?

I have been looking for a Trans Am WS6 for awhile. Am I going to get one soon? If I come across a deal I can't pass up then I'll pull the trigger but until then I'm going to hold off. I have it narrowed down to 2 colors that I like. I would either going with red or black. When asking family and friends it is split down the middle on each color. If I get black or red I would do 5% tint all the way around and tint the rear tails. The paint would obviously be very well taken care of so upkeep isn't going to be a problem with black. I personally am thinking black because when done right it looks amazing and I think it is meanest color on the TA. What are your thoughts on the Trans Am in black or red?

I had a 2002 Red T/A a few years ago with a SLP Loudmouth exhaust, SLP intake, and a pretty serious sound system :D. One of my favorite cars ever. I say go RED!
 
Those are the best colors on the TA...One of my friend's cousin has a red one with straight pipes..OMG! that sound...

But umm..... Black!
 
I had a 2000 ws6 in black
I too am looking for a trans am 98 o 02 ws6. Still looking for the right deal
 
Red unless you've never owner a black car. Everybody should suffer once in their life with black :laughing: Seriously red on that car will give you all the color pop you'll need without the heat and maintence issues of black.

Okay now that I have a thousand people hating me I will say nothing looks better that a correctly polished black car. It's just the challenge of keeping it clean because it shows everything.

Because I wanted to hear other people's opinions on what color they think looks best and to validate my opinion

In that case, the only opinion that should have any validation is your own.

Black, hands down. Style wise, they look much better than red if both cars are equally maintained. Plus, having a red performance car (of any sort, not T/As in particular) may attract too much, shall we say, "unwanted attention" :laughing:

PS- I may be biased, as I personally own 2 Trans Ams, one of which is black ('98). However, my other one is white ('02 WS6), so maybe I am not too biased...
