Autogeek tries to bring products to us that we can't get just anywhere. Part of the mystique of being a professional in any industry is having parts and tools that the normal person has no knowledge of.
For instance, my customers almost all have Supermicro servers that I had custom built for them. They can buy a Dell in many places, but the Supermicros aren't in the normal retail channels. They're great products at good prices, and all of them have been rock solid reliable. (I've installed a few hundred of them).
Griot's Garage looks like they're trying to expand their sales. Advanced Auto (Autozone in the west) are carrying their products in hundreds of retail locations. If anyone can buy it at the corner auto parts store, the mystique is gone.
And, online sales will suffer due to easier availability.
That's most likely why the line is being discontinued at AutoGeek.
