Help with waxing

Hi all I'm new here and im having issues with crystal rock bonding over turtle wax.
I applied nu finish via orbital from home depot. And then applied turtle wax by hand and now that im trying to add a layer of swissvax crystal rock it doesn't look or feel as good as turtle wax alone any ideas of what the issue is? The car is a 1989 geo tracker btw

Have you ever clayed you vehicle before?

If no the you need to do the Baggie Test. This test wil help you feel the above surface contamination on the paint of your vehilce.
Get a sandwich bag
Place your hand into the bag and run you hand across the paint. If you feel any grabbing you will need to clay your paint.

Sorry guys crystal rock was given to me by my uncle he has his own detailing shop and idk the value of this wax nor care really he gave it to me with about 30% left and figured why is he giving me used product ad a bday gift?
Anyways I've gotten good results with my previous steps id figure I get a lil more shine from this swisswax

What is clay? I never heard of it. I 5hink I've heard my uncle talk about but never really paid attention
