Every once and a while you get a job that just shocks you... and not the way you want to be shocked when you're approached for a "it's not too bad" interior detail.

The photos show pretty well what we were up again. In this case, the scrubber attachment on the PC was my saving grace to break down the grit and grim in the carpet. The car was littered with soda, juice, cooking grease and other undetermined stains- not to mention the layers or dust, dirt, and rocks all over the place. So here's what we're looking at...

Ok, so now let's start turning this thing around- Carpet shampoo, citrus degreaser, APC+, and a few other cleaning chemicals.

50/50 anyone?

I hadn't done the seat belts yet due to time constraints on the rest of the interior.

That's all folks! Hope you like.

Excellent turnaround, did you do it by hand or use a steamer or extractor to achieve the results. Thanks for posting and sharing.

Interiors like this make me feel bad for my carpet extractor. I bet the interior smells a whole lot nicer now. Excellent turnaround.

Thanks! I used a PC7424XP with Carpet Brush attachment to agitate then extracted.

Mine too, I actually had to run water through it to remove any possible residue that might have not passed through clearly. Couldn't imagine the residual smell!

Looks way better good job!
Hope it won't look like before in a week
I certainly hope not!

Yuck... there is a reason I usually pass when someone calls me and tells me they only want interior work :/

Great job!

 holy moly!!! that was beyond trashed. makes you wonder what their house looks like?

nice turn around. :xyxthumbs:

dude that is gross. I couldn't live with myself if i had to take ride in that thing. people are GROSS

That was some kind of sh!t in there ! Great job .

What products did you used !

:awman: That actually looks like a rental return! With the "No respect for others" mentality out there people can really trash a vehicle.

Great job!

I never thought about it, but now that I do, my worst interiors are almost always people who specifically request interior only.

It think it's because these people don't care about the appearance of their car. It just gets to the point that it's so gross that they can't stand it anymore.

Nice job. Very impressed with how well those seats came out. Always the worst.

I would have told them $750 with half up front and no guarantee that it would come clean. No, on second thought, I would have declined the job entirely. Nice attempt at bringing it back since it was a lost cause. it might look better with another 6 or so sessions.

Thanks! It was a struggle, that's for sure! Megs APC+, High Traffic Shampoo, Degreaser, PC w/ Carpet Brush and Extractor.

Agreed, this one was highly abused and never respected.

What a mess but you did an awesome job cleaning up!
Thanks! It was a challenge, and once the car dried (which it wasn't in the pics) it really came out better than the pics can show.

Wow amazing results!
Thank you!

Thanks! Once the car dried, the seats showed NO signs of staining. Unfortunately in the pics they are still wet so you can see the "high" spots where the water hasn't quited dried yet and it looks like there is still a bit of staining. ALL the stains in the seats actually came out! I was shocked because like you said, they are the worst!

There were a lot of "wicking" stains in the carpet because lots of the carpet stains were tannin stains that were allowed to sit. There were a few that just didn't want to play nice and needed a few more treatments to be perfect!

Great work. I couldn't imagine driving a car around like that
Me either, the smell is really the worst. When you have so many stains you can't often find "that smell" you're always looking for.

well done!
Thank you!
