Your way under on the full size suvs. It should be at least 300 without correction , sedans should be around 150 to 200

Looks like you are charging roughly $15-$20/hour. Id bring that up a bit, say $25-35?

Where are you located? Mobil or fixed location? How much experience?

I'm doing mobile. I have a fair amount of experience. This is the first time on considering advertising, I mainly do family and friends vehicles so I tend not to charge much. I live in Maryland and have been comparing prices to others, mine seem in reason from what I've seen. I just wanted some input on the prices and packages.

Location and target market really plays a huge role in this. Where do you live and where do you plan on serving?

The Maryland area, also up into DC. Yeah its something I really enjoy doing. I'm in hopes of getting some business, saving some money and expanding. I've been told by many I do a good job.

I have struggled with pricing for a while now . I started off with a guy and he was doing things for dirt cheap . So I have been stuck with some cheap customers . I started off with $15 basic washes and now a year and a half later im up to $30 basic washes . In my area this is about the target range . I offer other services also that go from $50 up to $400 +. Paint correction work if hard to come by people dont want to pay or dont see the need for it . I hope to be up to a minimum of $50 as a starting price in about 2 more years . Also all my packages are listed as starting at $ amont .

That's a good idea to put pricing starting at, I was thinking you never know the condition.

For a full size suv I charge $115 for a hand wax and claybar is included . To do a polish I would be up in the $250 . That's in my area

So I have, SUVs under priced any other input or changes?

every price needs to shifted up by about 125 dollars, you have to factor in your vehicle, supplies, labor, etc, if you dont, it could be a loss for every vehicle

So your saying his $20 wash should be a $140 wash ?

I would just say that if you plan to raise your prices in the future you might as well just raise them now and run some "grand opening" sales.

That's why the importance of the "Walk Around" the vehicle:
-With a Vehicle Inspection Form in hand; and
-With the vehicles' owners in tow...before any price quote is given:
Can not be overlooked, IMHO!!

Well is there anything I can base my priced off of or view to get a better idea of what I should set them at.

Look at other professional forum members, their prices are in line with where they live and what they are doing, however, that does not mean to lower your prices just because you are new to going pro. Reward yourself for the work you do as you should get paid a good amount for doing full details on certain vehicles.
