Yes. A total pain. I was surprised too. Especially to see that sheen develop on the rinse water drops after all that cleaning. I have not tried CP Inside. I'll get a sample and try some. I tried TRIX years ago on a hidden spot but it turned the plastic white and nothing will correct it.

You can get it on Ebay. Search "Paint Protection Vinyl". Works great. I use to use it to protect the paint from a magnetic mount antenna. PM me if you like for easy application instructions.

They are not cheap. If you are hell bent on making paint samples that are car shaped you can always buy lexan radio controlled car bodies. Some are as cheap as 3 dollars on ebay.

These have been around for airplanes for years. There is a handheld buffer that is electric called Buffpro. I've been looking into getting one for my boat. There are a few posts here about the Buffpro and I believe a couple detailers here have them.
