A buddy of mine is trading his black Civic in and wants me to make it shine for cheap. It is swirled up pretty bad. I told him I would do my best, but for $50 I couldn't make it look like a show car. Which product would do a better job a temporary hiding swirls for a trade in, Megs 7 or 3M...

I know that blacklight has some fillers in it, but does it also have any abrasives? I don't want to waste my time working the product in if I can just do one pass and be done with it.

I was wondering if I could use any wash mitt on my car without causing marring. With good soap and a two bucket method, should that be enough lubrication to stop marring?

I was wondering what some of the most hydrophobic LSPs out there are? I have been using Collinite 845 and Sonax BSD, are there any more out there that are more hydrophobic than these?

Is it true that on many modern cars it isn't worth trying to condition leather seats? I heard most of them are coated, so any conditioner won't penetrate the leather. Is there truth to this? Just clean them and be done?

Could you guys recommend some QDs with no wax in them? I just want to remove dust or pollen from my car, not put more and more coats of wax on it.

I went out this morning and the holograms weren't as bad. I did a QD wipe down and all of the holograms would move in the direction of the towel.

I took some, but the holograms are hard to see in the picture, it is just a big sun spot BECAUSE of the hologram there. I used the ipa after the wash to get rid of any old wax. I'm using a porter cable on 5.
