Can the residue be removed without damaging the decal?

Thanks, I'll check it out. As long as I can get it looking good from a foot away or so I'm happy.

Can the residue be removed without damaging the decal?

Unfortunately the previous owner removed the black factory decal and applied this silver one directly over the residue. Can the residue be removed without damaging the decal? I dont really want to strip it off and spend 200 on a new decal set. I've tried carefully using a claybar and a q-tip...

That dank, musty 'used car' smell...

Jeeze, what will they think of next!

That dank, musty 'used car' smell...

You know the one. You sit in a car that's more than a few years old on a car lot-- Or even a friend's car that has never once so much as vacuumed the interior. It's a bit of a plasticky, musty, almost armorall-like smell. I can't place the source -it's not the AC vents. Well, we lent the car...

I need something to replace 303.

Hmm so one bottle should do both the black plastic on a 4runner and a Tundra (including running boards)? $40/yr once per vehicle is way better than 303 every f**n time the car gets a drop of water on it. That ultima interior guard looks nice too... maybe I'll retire 303 to engine plastics.

I need something to replace 303.

LOVED this stuff for years for my interior. Recently got a new 4runner, and given the quality of toyota weatherstripping and seals, I decided to put the 'spf for my stuff' on the black parts. Well, turns out, any moisture will react with the 303 and make the black panels look streaky and...

Seats looking worse with each Leatherique application.

I am thinking about it, but the seats are a 2-year only color and haven't found anyone that can do the logos and the color yet (for a reasonable price.)

Seats looking worse with each Leatherique application.

2 hours or so. Vehicle's int temperature was around 125 during. They were certainly creases before the cleaning. But prodding around in the area before the application, there were no visible cracks. It's very possible (and given the quality of gm leather...) that there were existing cracks...

Seats looking worse with each Leatherique application.

Nope, the site says to vacuum it and then hit it with the rejuvenator. Let cook for at least 2 hours in the heat, then take the cleaner to it to remove the now loosened dirt and contaminates.

Seats looking worse with each Leatherique application.

Leather seems pretty flexible. Definitely not hard. This area was vacuumed, then the conditioner applied, then the cleaner, then the cleaner wiped off. (noticed the cracks after the conditioner, before the cleaner.)

Seats looking worse with each Leatherique application.

First application, I noticed splitting around the seams in the seats. I contacted Leatherique and they said that it was probably covered up by dirt previously. Since then I've kept my seats fairly clean with their product, and decided to apply the Leatherique conditioner once again. After my...

Take a look and give me your thoughts.

My site isn't together yet because I'm not really in a hurry to launch my mobile detailing thingum. But I'll share the mockup I did for my layout. This isn't exactly to scale. Notice the proportions of things, though. I used the middle as the place to put my biggest graphics/most flashy stuff...
