Can't you use a LC 3.5" backing plate on the PC for the 4" pads? Sorry, but I'm getting confused here.

Why the Edge adapter?

I have some 105 on it's way, after reading about it, I'm thinking of maybe going in a different direction. Any thoughts? Thanks

What do you mean by "Flashing"?

I was concerned about the 6.5" pads cause someone at Griot's said it was OK as long as I had a 5" backing plate. The one on the polisher measures almost 6".

Can I use the 6.5" LC pads on my GG- or do I have to get a different backing plate?
